Once again, Xavia and Mark were on the trending tab, under the hashtag of, ‘#Mark brings child back to his home!’
Apparently, several people had managed to capture and upload photos of Mark picking up and driving Xavia and Yulia from their home. In fact, someone even managed to snap an image of them returning to Mark’s villa together! The fact that Mark had held the child in his arms so closely made many wonder whether the child was his. Was this really a family of three…? Whether that was the case or not, it was undeniable that the trio looked harmonious together…
Looking at the pictures, Chace couldn’t help but say, “Those two truly are a perfect match… That aside, I must say that being a single mother takes quite a bit of courage.”
“Indeed… That aside, I knew Yulia and Maison looked too similar to be unrelated! As it turns out, they’re both Xavia’s twin children! Still, to think that she was able to give birth at the age of nineteen for the sake of her first love… Hell, she even raised their daughter for three years on her own! She must truly love him…” mutter Zayne.
It was at that moment when Zayne heard Chace clearing his throat… and upon looking up, he noticed that Zivon’s expression had gone extremely sour…! Following a subtle sigh, Zayne then quickly changed the topic by saying, “…You know what, my throat’s kind of dry! Guess I’ll soothe it with some wine! Care to join me, Zivon? Nothing drains away sorrows better than wine, you know?”
Without even waiting for his reply, Zayne then filled three glasses of wine… and thankfully, Zivon grabbed one of the glasses. However, he drank the contents in one swift gulp! Was the wine really that good…?
Though Chace felt the need to cheer his friend up, he knew that nothing he said would do the trick. Because of that, he simply got his own glass of wine and began drinking it…
It was a while later when Chace finally said, “…You know, your mother seems to like Sophia quite a bit… Honestly, why don’t you just consider being with her? After all, she’s talented, powerful, and she gets along well with you. What more could you ask for? Besides, your company’s short on manpower, isn’t it?”
“Seconded. Even if you don’t fall for her, there’s a saying that when men and women team up, work becomes effortless. From what I can see, you just aren’t cut out for love, so you may as well just focus on your career…”
