Standing there in the dead of night, Xavia looked quite pitiful with Yulia in her arms… How disgusting. Had she made sure to look this wretched in hopes of facing Zivon and garnering his sympathy?
Following a sneer, Sophia scoffed, “Did I not tell you not to show up before my face anymore? Can you not understand simple English…?!”
Looking at the high and mighty Sophia, Xavia couldn’t help but notice that the well-dressed woman was now wearing more skin-tight clothes that accentuated her womanly curves… Seems like she was going all out to win Zivon over.
Pursing her lips, Xavia replied, “I already told you that I wouldn’t come over last time, yes… And I’d have been happy to comply if only you hadn’t brought my daughter into this. She’s only three, you know? Don’t you think you’re being a bit too cruel?”
“Cruel…? If I’m cruel, what are you for not allowing the child to be with her father? It makes me wonder if you’re trying to avoid letting others know who her true father is since you want Young Master Burton or God knows who to continue taking after you,” retorted Sophia.
“She isn’t-” replied Xavia before holding her tongue. She… She couldn’t let Sophia know that the child was Zivon’s. After all, that woman already hated her. If she learned that Yulia was his daughter… then there was a chance that this sadistic woman would grow even more vicious. She had to keep Yulia’s identity a secret for a little longer…!
Shaking her head, Xavia then said, “…Either way, I’m just here to tell you to stop. If anything ever happens to my child, I won’t be letting you off easily…!”
With that said, Xavia then turned to leave…
Upon seeing Xavia, Mark couldn’t help but say, “…Xavia? Done so quickly…?”
After sitting in the car, Xavia sighed before replying, “…I can only expose Yulia’s identity after a month… If Sophia and Young Master Burton haven’t gotten together by then, I’m free to tell him about it, and Yulia won’t face any further threats either… If they do end up together, however… Well, I’ll just think of some other way…”
