Pregnant and Favored: See You in the Morning, Young Master novel Chapter 1268

Feeling increasingly unsure as to what her motive was, the irritated man ultimately chose to just switch his phone off. Following that, he headed to bed to get some rest…

Xavia herself continued waiting for quite a while… but it soon became apparent that he wasn’t going to respond. Even so, she found herself much calmer than before. After all, she now understood that words alone weren’t enough to console his heart. She needed to take matters into her own hands to solve all this.

With that in mind, she began tapping on her phone… and soon enough, she had purchased a ticket straight for Prosa City. Nodding to herself, she then made sure to place Harold’s phone properly on the table… and she was off.

It was around five the next morning when the dark sky began brightening up again… and it wasn’t long before Wendy heard a knock on her door. As with most senior citizens, the fifty-year-old woman was an early riser, so she was quick to answer the knocking… But when she opened the door, she couldn’t help but feel surprised.

The woman standing outside her door had a simple black sweater on with matching jeans and white shoes, a combination that made her feel approachable. Where had she seen her before…? Wasn’t this… Jenna?

In the end, she couldn’t help but ask, “…Could you be Jenna…?”

Though she had once again been mistaken for her twin sister, Xavia couldn’t help but breathe a subtle sigh of relief. After all, she had hoped that Wendy would mistake her for Jenna.

Shaking the thought off, she then quickly replied, “I am. Before anything else, though Zivon and I are divorced, I’m still Maison’s mother, and I’ve noticed that many people are using the current chaos to hurt Zivon and the boy. With that said, I’d like to learn more about the situation from your perspective…”

Wendy, for one, had read a lot about Jenna, and she was pretty sure that this woman had treated Zivon extremely well throughout their time together. Because of that, Wendy was quick to say, “Come on in, then.”
