Back when Xavia had first needed to travel to Darlsbury, Mr. and Mrs. Talton had found Mark by accident. Later on, they learned that he was actually the child that they had left behind. However, since the Talton Group already had Stefan and his adoptive parents only had him, Mark ultimately decided not to return to the Talton family.

It wasn’t until he became a bit more famous when his classmate notified him that Xavia had gotten pregnant without getting married! Realizing that she’d soon become a single mother raising her child on her own, Mark figured that there could’ve been some sort of misunderstanding at the time.

With that, he ended up adding her on WhatsApp, though she ended up ignoring his request. Though he wanted to return to the country after that, he couldn’t do so immediately since his career was nearing its peak. In the end, he ended up getting Matthew to return to the country to check on the situation for him.

After some investigating, Matthew learned that Xavia had faked her marriage, and that she had an ambiguous relationship with Zivon. Upon hearing all that, Mark grew even wearier of returning. From the looks of it, there were simply too many situations beyond his abilities to handle…

Ultimately, he decided to return when he heard that his brother had fallen ill. It was during that time when he figured that he may as well use the opportunity to get a clearer understanding of their relationship. After all, he still had a chance if she still wasn’t married. Even if there wasn’t… he’d still protect her like her brother. Just like before.
