It was Jenna.
‘My, my, how heartless of you not to visit Sophia in the hospital after all that’s happened! That aside, I have some information regarding Madam Young’s death… If you wish to learn more, meet up with me.’
…Despite knowing full well that Jenna could be bullsh*tting her, Xavia ultimately decided to head to the hospital once she was done grocery shopping…
“I knew you’d come over…” scoffed the bedridden Jenna when she saw Xavia entering her ward. Though her health wasn’t in its peak condition, her attitude remained as arrogant as ever…
Not even bothering to quarrel, Xavia replied, “Spare me the cr*p and just tell me what you know.”
This prompted Jenna to reveal a smirk. Thinking back, her original plan had simply been to make Dana and Sophia hate Xavia… Little did she know at the time that Dana had a weak heart! As if things weren’t going swimmingly enough, that decorative mountain just so happened to collapse right where she needed it to! Jenna truly couldn’t ask for better luck!
Quickly gathering her thoughts, Jenna then said, “Oh, nothing much… Just thought you’d like to know that Madam Young was the one who had taken the initiative to ask me about your relationship with Young Master Burton! Naturally, I told her the truth, and you should’ve seen how angry she was! In fact, she even declared that she regretted all her choices and that she wanted to get even with you…!”
“You were the one who triggered that heart attack! As if that wasn’t already enough, you should know that she was on her way to find you when that decorative mountain collapsed! Had it not been for you, she’d have gone in the complete opposite direction! You know, though you keep calling me a vicious woman, have you ever looked in the mirror? You’ve made an old woman leave this world with great anger and grief, for God’s sake!”
“It makes me wonder whether you even have any guilt for causing all this…!” concluded Jenna, causing Xavia’s legs to instantly go limp.
