Back in the room, Xavia couldn’t help but nibble on some of the fruit. She, for one, knew better than to attend that event with an empty stomach, especially since it could easily last for a few hours. It was around then when Bianca returned with a pearl hairpin, her forehead drenched in sweat.

Figuring that Bianca must have looked all over the place just to get that hairpin for her, Xavia was prompted to say, “…I’m glad to have a good friend like you… That aside, you look parched! Have a drink. A waitress just brought it over.”

“Don’t mind if I do…” replied Bianca as she began tucking the hairpin in Xavia’s hair. Once she was done, she took a sip of the juice before exclaiming, “…Hey, this isn’t half bad! Have some too! It’ll help combat the heat a bit.”

Nodding in response, Xavia took a swig of the juice as well, completely unaware that both of them had just drugged each other… Regardless, the hour soon passed, and it was time for the main event.

By that point, the two had arrived at the venue, and several seats with parasols on top could be seen all around. There were also several celebrities who could be seen touching up their makeup while waiting for their turn to enter.

After finding them a nice spot, Bianca said, “Xavia, why don’t we sit… h-here…”

As she was speaking, she suddenly began feeling rather dizzy, to the point where she had to add, “…U-um… I’m feeling a little uncomfortable, so I think I’ll head back to the room to get a cold drink or something… Just sit here for the time being, and remember… Your number is thirty-nine… Also, if I don’t come back in time, don’t panic… Just relax and walk down the red carpet…”

Concerned, Xavia was quick to ask, “…Are you alright…? Do you need me to send you to the hospital…?”

“There’s no need for that… It’s probably just the heat. Don’t worry about me…” replied Bianca as she turned to leave. For some reason, her body was getting increasingly uncomfortable… Even so, she didn’t want to bother Xavia, especially during her big moment…

Either way, as she fumbled out of the elevator, Bianca was quickly greeted by a bump on her forehead, followed by the scent of manly cologne… and upon looking up, she was greeted by Chace’s enticing eyes! Shaking the thought off, she frowned slightly as she asked, “…What are you even doing here…?”
