Stefan walked over to her and raised his brows. “Why? You told me about such an important matter, but you left me there and ran away on your own. Now, you’re not even saying anything to me? Did I offend you?”

Xavia said, “No. I thought… I thought that we would not see each other again.”

‘We would not see each other again.’

She actually thought he was so heartless.

Stefan smiled helplessly. “Xavia, I was just a little shocked at that time, but that does not mean that I despise you at all.
