Xavia, for one, didn’t think that was the case. After taking a deep breath, Xavia then said, “I meant it when I said that, Chairman Harrison. I can tell that you like Young Master Burton, and that you’ve been trying very hard to get his attention. You deserve him more than I do. Then again, he and I were never suited for each other.”

With that said, Xavia then turned to leave, leaving the puzzled Sophia frozen in place… Before posting the results, Zivon had told her to make it appear as though nobody had scored a hundred so that Xavia could take the crown. Now that Xavia was at the top of the world, why were things still going south…?

Unsure how to deal with this now that the results had been announced, Sophia was ultimately prompted to seek Zivon out. After relaying all that Xavia had said to Zivon’s grandmother, Zivon rubbed his temple before muttering, “She said all that to Grandma, huh…?”

To think that that woman would be this serious about breaking up… That aside, with how things were going in their relationship, Zivon himself had no idea how to handle the matter.

His train of thought was cut short when Sophia suddenly said, “Still, from what I’ve gathered, Miss Lockhart is extremely straightforward, and she’d never yield to those stronger than her… Now that I know this, it’s less of a wonder why you like her so much… You should know, however, that Miss Lockhart also gave you and I her blessings… Suffice to say, I believe there’s some sort of misunderstanding here…”

…Blessings? She was so eager to forget about their relationship that she wanted him to find another woman already…?! Irked by the thought, Zivon growled, “…I see. Head back first. I’ll handle this.”

Once Sophia had left, the annoyed Zivon loosened his tie, feeling extremely restless… Shortly after, a knock could be heard, prompting Zivon to say in an icy voice, “Enter.”

Upon hearing that, Keith casually walked in, a hand in his pocket as he asked, “I don’t get why you’re so unhappy, Uncle Zivon. Can’t you be open with your relationship with Xavia now? Why aren’t you celebrating?”

Glaring at Keith with a raised brow, Zivon—who was already displeased with Keith—replied, “So, just because I didn’t step into the matter regarding Jenna before this, you felt the right to reach out to Xavia? You truly have nerves of steel to be mocking me even now.”
