Xavia felt as if her feet were as heavy as lead. She froze in place as she awkwardly turned around to look at him. “Young Master, what is your command?”
Zivon looked at her. He was dressed in a simple top and washed jeans that were obviously very casual and ordinary but were quite pleasing to the eyes.
He asked, “Are you and Stefan Talton dating?”
Xavia shook her head. She would like that, but he was not willing to!
Just as she was about to answer, Zivon walked toward deliberately as he spoke coldly and condescendingly.
“Since you are already dating him, then what did you mean when you lied to me earlier and told me that you were not dating him?
“You don’t want me to misunderstand, or is it because you are afraid that I would find out about it? Huh?”
He asked these questions without any pause and left Xavia confused and dumbfounded.
What she was telling him at that time was the truth. She was not lying! But if she were to say that, then it would seem as though she really cared about him and did not want him to misunderstand her or find out about it!
That was right. Why did she even bother to explain it to him in the first place then?
This was not a good idea! She could not allow it!
“I simply said it off the top of my head, and I did not mean anything else. I’m going to go and take care of Maison now. Goodbye!”
Was she tacitly admitting that she was indeed dating Stefan?
Zivon looked at her back, and the corners of his lips curled up as he said coldly and condescendingly, “Do you like him so much? You’re already so certain of your feelings to the point that you’re establishing a relationship with him after knowing him for less than a month?”
Why did this man have so much to say today?!
Xavia turned around and looked at Zivon, who was standing under the bright morning sun. He was very well-dressed, and he looked very handsome. His profound and chiseled features looked even deeper and longer under the light and shadow.
He really had great looks!
However, he had to have an unpleasant nature. He was not warm nor gentle, and he was not tender or compassionate toward women at all. He could not be compared to Stefan in any way!
She said, “Chairman Talton is rich, attractive, handsome, and he is such a warm and gentle man. This kind of good and outstanding man is tough to come by. So, is there a problem even if I really like him and if I am dating him?”
She was naturally filled with praises for Stefan.
