It was hard on him, and he would have to suffer every time…
Outside.
The car stopped at an upscale and elegant breakfast shop. Stefan got out of the car and pulled the car door open for Xavia like a gentleman.
“Chairman Talton, I’ve already had breakfast. However, there is something that I want to talk to you about.”
“I’ve not eaten yet. You can accompany me and take your time to talk then.” Stefan was very warm and friendly, and it made it impossible for anyone to turn him down.
Xavia was helpless, so she could only get out of the car and follow him into the breakfast shop.
Stefan seemed to be a regular customer here, and there was an exclusive VIP room for him. They could see the beautiful sunrise outside and the beautiful scenery of most of S City from the location next to the floor-to-ceiling windows. It was gorgeous and dreamy.
Xavia was very surprised. “Wow! We can see such a beautiful sunrise in the city!” This was simply too awesome, right? It was indeed true that rich people could buy anything.
Stefan smiled deeply. He had seen many women, and they would only show such expression when they saw limited-edition bags, gems, and luxury cars. She was different. She was so happy and content just to see the sunrise.
He was confident that she was not the kind of girl that his mother had spoken of.
“This place will make people feel that this world is beautiful and full of hope. If you like it, I can bring you here every day from now on.”
“Mhm!”
Xavia nodded to agree, but she suddenly realized the meaning behind his words in the next second. She quickly put her smile away as she sat down at her seat obediently.
“Chairman Talton, you should eat your breakfast first. Then, we can talk after you’re done eating.” She was afraid that he would not be in the mood to eat his breakfast anymore after she was done speaking.
However, how could Stefan possibly have the heart and intention to eat breakfast if she had such a hesitant look on her face?
