When My Ex's Worst Enemy Became My Sanctuary novel Chapter 347

Carmen just stared, completely out of words. In her mind, she rolled her eyes so hard it almost hurt. Seriously, here he was again, putting their perfect love on display for everyone to see.

When she invited Dorothea onto the show, Carmen never thought the whole internet would end up obsessing over her best friend and her husband. She pressed her lips together, trying not to smile. “Dorothea’s inside. Go on in.”

Dorothea was totally absorbed in the class, taking careful notes and barely looking up. She didn’t even realize someone had walked up and sat beside her.

“Honey, what are you writing?” Latham’s voice was gentle and close.

Dorothea jumped a little, then recognized him and remembered where she was. She quickly looked over at the teacher, apologetic. “Sorry, my bad.”

The doctor mom sitting nearby couldn’t help but sigh in admiration. “Dorothea, your husband is way too sweet. He even came to listen to the class with you. My husband wouldn’t show up even if he had nothing to do.”

Georgia’s fingers were clenched so tight around her pen that her knuckles had gone white. She couldn’t even pretend to smile anymore. Watching Dorothea and Latham show off their love was honestly getting on her nerves.

Latham gave a polite nod toward the other three moms, then reached over to take the notebook and pen from Dorothea’s hands. “Let me handle the notes. You take a break.”

The livestream chat immediately exploded.

[Oh my god, she needs a break from taking notes? Latham, you’re spoiling her way too much!]

[Latham: Give your hand a rest, babe. I’ll write.]

Dorothea flashed a sweet smile. “I’m not that delicate, you know.”

Latham just shrugged. “I know. I just like writing.”

For the rest of the class, Dorothea listened carefully while Latham took notes beside her. The two of them sitting together looked like something out of a painting. After class ended, Latham even stayed behind to ask the teacher a few follow-up questions, and then he casually asked if he could get a copy of the slides.

When it was time to leave, Dorothea said goodbye to the others and Latham slipped his arm around her, steering her out of the room and toward home.
