The Wife You Buried Is Back from Hell novel Chapter 252

The Ninesky project was still under wraps, though rumors were swirling within the industry. People guessed the profits could reach two and a half billion, but those in the know understood the real numbers could soar even higher once everything was up and running.

Gian’s expression darkened.

Danielle took a steadying breath.

Alexander, on the other hand, was a gambler—always composed, always in control, as if he could bend the tide of fate to his will.

There’s a point where true power means being able to shape the entire playing field.

This was his way of backing Millie—and putting Danielle in her place.

If the deal went through, AetherX Dynamics would hold all the cards.

But if Ninesky wanted to wrestle control away, they’d have to pay a steep price. Nothing worth having ever lands in your lap for free.

Danielle spoke quietly, her voice steady. “I’ll discuss this with Mr. Atwood.”

This was a big decision—she couldn’t make the call alone.

Alexander’s face remained cool and unreadable. He just gestured for her to go ahead.

She and Gian left the conference room.

Mr. Keeley stood as well. “Let’s take a short break. I need to make a quick call.”

Inside the room, Liam let out a low chuckle. “Do they really have the nerve to sign this deal? Do they even have an appetite big enough to swallow it?”

Millie propped her chin on her fist, tapping the table with her other hand, a sly smile playing at her lips. “Danielle’s naive, sure, but Gian should know better.”

“My guess? They won’t dare sign. If they lose the bet, they’ll forfeit Ninesky’s control entirely.”

Danielle’s just an inexperienced rookie, barely more than an assistant. Gian might be infatuated, but there’s no way he’d let her call the shots on something this big.

“Ninesky’s only managed to get into government contract bids thanks to us. If they’d just kept their heads down and followed our lead, they could’ve made a tidy profit. But now they want to take the reins? It’s laughable.”
