The Wife You Buried Is Back from Hell novel Chapter 207

Millie put a protective hand on Raffy’s shoulder. “Alex, this concerns both kids. We deserve the truth—who’s right and who’s wrong should be clear for everyone.”

Alexander’s gaze landed on Raffy, sharp and unsettling. “Did you hit her?” he asked, voice low.

Raffy felt a chill run down his spine. He knew his father loved him, but that didn’t make him any less intimidating. Staring at the floor, Raffy wanted to say no.

But Alexander pressed on. “Don’t tell me Niki hurt herself.”

Raffy bit his lip. “I just defended myself. She started it.”

“So you did hit her, then.” Alexander’s words were deliberate, each one heavy. “If you hit someone, what should you do?”

Millie paused, realizing Alexander was trying to teach Raffy a lesson. She decided not to interfere—after all, fighting was wrong, no matter who started it. The details could be sorted out later.

Besides, apologizing was the right thing to do. Raffy needed to learn how to be a gentleman, especially as the future heir of the Davidson family. He had to be gracious in all things.

Danielle watched Alexander, a little surprised by his approach this time.

Raffy glanced at Millie, silently pleading for help. But she stayed quiet.

Scowling and reluctant, Raffy finally turned to Niki. “I’m sorry,” he muttered.

Niki stood there, lips pressed together in a thin line. “You should apologize to Mom too. You shouldn’t have said those things or misunderstood her.”

Raffy’s face darkened. He clenched his fists. “Don’t push it!”

“Rafferty,” Alexander’s voice was low, his eyes stern.
