The Royal Military Academy's Impostor Owns a Dungeon [BL] novel Chapter 504

Chapter 504: That Monster

Engulfed.

Yes. That was the perfect word to describe what had just happened to him and to the entire arena.

"Confidential."

Inwardly, Luca was horrified.

With an air of detached calm, the sensible husband simply stepped forward, his dark uniform pristine, and produced a holographic folder of documents as though this had all been anticipated.

The kind that was so bright, so absolute, that it filled every inch of space, consuming sound itself like the void in the far reaches of the universe.

She glanced at Ada and then back at Luca, her scheming eyes glinting faintly.

Garick’s eyes followed the gesture, still in a daze, and he was wondering about just who was injured.

"What?" he muttered, confused, as Luca’s worried gaze met his.

Something closer to awe.

Xavier’s attention softened only when he came back to Luca’s side.

"If anything," she continued with a faint smirk, "I might actually be able to stay after all."

It was one thing to break school property.

He actually ended up with a nosebleed from sheer pressure.

His voice cracked just a little at the end as he turned to Xavier in a silent, desperate plea: What do I do now?!

And he didn’t even see or feel that coming.

"I-I’m so sorry!" Luca stammered, his golden eyes trembling as he tried to explain. "It was just...it was just a test, I swear! Really! Please don’t misunderstand—!"

Felt it.

The soldier blinked, startled, but took the documents and flipped through them, his brow furrowing deeper with every page.

He couldn’t afford such a thing right now, after all.

The response came from not just Garick but the crowd around him. Nobody seemed to understand what that kid meant.

But before Xavier could even say anything, he realized Luca’s words were falling on deaf ears.

But apparently, it was him.

The allegedly calm and collected boy standing in the middle of the arena?

Nor was it the kind that sent shrapnel flying or debris raining down.

An actual monster.

But Xavier wasn’t done.

Her smirk widened just a little.

But Kira only shook her head faintly, cutting him off with a soft smile. Correct content is on freew.ebno(v)e\l.(c)om.

"Your Majesty," he said, tilting his head slightly. "Are you alright? Would it be okay if we continue the test next time? Umm...I’m concerned about breaking the Empire’s equipment."

Meanwhile...

"Wha—what?!"

And then, just as suddenly as it came—

Even as his aide whispered urgently, "Should we take you to get checked?"

The explosion wasn’t the kind that made your ears ring.

The technicians could only exchange wary glances, murmur among themselves, and quietly back off.

But before Garick could respond, his aide rushed in with an almost panicked expression, arriving just as military technicians scrambled into the arena after hearing the alarms.

And standing there, as if he’d been there all along, was that scrawny guild leader, Luca.

Small. Unassuming.

As if nothing had ever happened.

He was actually anything but calm.

What was he going to do?!

"Your Majesty!" the aide called, reaching his side.

The kind that brought him, King Garick of the Orcs, to his knee.

While turning slightly, he remembered to issue other essential commands.

"You did fine," he murmured. "Don’t worry. I’ll handle the rest."

"I’m sorry," he muttered, his head lowering. "I just wanted to help. That’s all. I really didn’t think it would turn out like this."

So horrified, in fact, that even D-29 started to stutter and whir in distress, its interface blinking with glitchy warnings like some kind of spiritual heart attack.

It could’ve consumed him.
