As Alexandra soars down the stairs in all splendor, enters the living room, unfazed as her eyes fall on Adams. She had expected him to arrive just a few moments before the ceremony begin just as he did in his past life. Lurking eyes together, Adams smiles standing up and walking nearer to her glancing around her body.
"You look stunning today"-
Alexandra gazes into his eyes, observing him intently, a thought strikes through her mind. "So you're saying I don't look stunning other times, right?"
"Of course not, you look stunning today, tomorrow, and forever"
Alexandra smiles but it didn't reach her eyes. "How many people?"
Adams gazes at her, confused. "What?"
"How many people have you used that line on?"
Adams blinks his eyes rapidly, uncertain of the right words to say.
"You don't have to answer if it makes you uncomfortable"
"It doesn't, it just seems out of the blue"
"Ah" Alexandra walks towards the vase, takes out a rose, and inhales the sweet flowery scent while her peripheral vision gazes at Adams who glances around for Olivia.
"Are you waiting for someone?"
"What?"
"The ceremony should be starting anytime soon, are you waiting for someone?"
"Yes"
"Are you waiting for me or Olivia?" Alexandra states, her eyes firm and unblinking, putting the rose back into the vase
"Is you. Of course is you Alexandra, who else will I be waiting for?"
"I don't know, you tell me"
Adams takes slow steps towards her and holds her arm. "Is always you that I'll be waiting for today, tomorrow, and forever"
Alexandra could see right through him but she wouldn't dare show it. "Then let's go. If you are here for me then here I am except of course you are waiting for Olivia"
Adams shoots sharply. "Of course not! I came for you so let's go"
"Olivia can come on her own, right?"
Adams nods affirmatively. "Of course who else would she come with"
"Alexandra has changed"
Veronica shakes her head disbelievingly walking away, Olivia stands at a close distance gawking at Alexandra, she could tell she wasn't the same woman as before, something has changed in her. Unlike in her last life, Alexandra, despite being one of the strongest wolves in her pack didn't fight much and even though she was bullied chose to keep mute than use her strength.
As Alexandra lifts her face, lurks eyes with Olivia and Olivia quickly averts her eyes, the menacing look in Alexandra's eyes creeps her out, sending shivers down her spine. Olivia clears her throat, bolting nearer to Alexandra.
"Hey, You! –" Olivia quickly chokes on the words as the cold eyes of Alexandra lurks into her eyes. "I…I…I" she stutters, trying to form the right words when she hears the drum halt, realizes the ritual was about to begin, and scurries off to recline to a seat next to Veronica.
Alexandra gazes around as the wolves move around to approach their mate, a smile forms on her lips as old memories jump in for she had been the one to approach Adams in the past life to form a mate bond after the ritual had begun. The smile quickly fades away from her face, and she molds her fist tightly, as her eyes fall on Adams approaching her, while Nathaniel Starkov stands in a corner looking strikingly handsome, glaring at Adam and the other werewolves who approach her.
As Adams gets nearer, he lowers his head gazing into Alexandra's eyes. "Become my mate Alexandra Guerrero so that together I will lead the Guerrero pack with you on my side as Luna"
Alexandra scoffs, seeing right through his schemes. "I'll wish to accept you as my mate Adams but you see this position isn't just mine alone. My family will be really upset with me if I give up my position and become your Luna"
Bewildered, Adams molds his fist glances at Veronica and Olivia, and stares at them, stern and unblinking.
A smile creeps on Alexandra's face but she quickly wipes it off, feigns to be disheartened, and quickly breaks into tears, the wolves around glance at her, and Alexandra runs away pretending to be ashamed, dashes into the woods, running past giant oak trees.
Alexandra smiles, wiping the tears off her cheeks, exhaling as the cold breeze embraces her skin. She widens her smile, glad that she had dodged the bullet the past shot at her. The past was horrible and she wouldn't dare let History repeat itself.
Attempting to stroll further into the woods, feels her heart skip sending tingle's across her body, amazed, Alexandra squeals, never expecting her wolf to have returned since it's been silent all this while. She turns around only to hear her wolf cry out loudly "Mate"
