Alexandra smiles, glancing around, whatever he was hiding was definitely big for him to have lured her into the woods where no one visited.

"You" Alexandra exhales, uncertain if what was running through her mind was true.

Observing him intently, Alexandra could see through wicked eyes that bore through her skin, running a hand through her face, trying to wake up from the nightmare she had dragged herself into.

"What happened to me?"

"Was this your plan all along?"

"What plan? I haven't even made a plan yet Alexandra"

"Shut your mouth Adam"

"Or what?" He dares, challenging her to try and make a move then he wouldn't hesitate putting her in her place once and for all since his hand has been itching to get a taste of her blood for messing up his life.

"What are you going to do now that Nathaniel is gone?"

"Is he?" Alexandra challenges back, never going to back down from a fight.

"What do you mean?"

"Nathaniel is my mate which means we share a special bond so no matter what he can not truly get rid of me and neither can I"

Alexandra manages to say but deep down she already knew he was gone. They may be mate's but they haven't sealed the bond she couldn't possibly call on when she was in danger and neither could he.

If anything she was all alone but Alexandra wouldn't let Adam know.

"Really?"

"Yes"

"That means the both of you have sealed the mate bond" Adam states seeing right through her.

He could sense she was lying, Alexandra was nothing like Olivia and would never give herself to Nathaniel Starkov without a ceremony that would unify the two packs as allies and bless the couples.

"Yes"

"I don't believe you"

"That's your problem Adam"

"Let's say you and Nathaniel has bonded, why would he leave you?"

"Because I told him to go and I want to be with you" Alexandra states without thinking it through.

Knowing Adam, she was sure he could be playing another game while waiting for her to slip up and expose what she truly feels for Nathaniel.

"Isn't that what you want also?"

Lost for words, Adam wasn't sure if she was playing a game or speaking out of sincerity anymore. If anything, he has seen Alexandra and Nathaniel together and although he couldn't fathom their relationship. He knew there was something between them since Alexandra didn't fail to always rub it in, that Nathaniel was his mate.

"Yes Alexandra that's what I want but do you also know what I want?"

"What is it?"

Adam smirks. "Why don't you guess Alexandra"

It cost her her life in the past and she had fought so hard to get to where she was so no one was going to take what rightfully belonged to her, she would rather die than let them have it.

"You really think I'm thinking about Olivia"

"Do you really think I'm thinking about Nathaniel"

"Olivia means nothing!" He yells

"Nathaniel means nothing to me!" She yells back seeing right through his deceitful lies and she could sense he could see in her eyes that she care about Nathaniel, he was her mate and she couldn't forget him that easily.

When everything was over, Alexandra was intending to go back to him and continue with their marriage if Nathaniel would still want her to be his.

"Are you really going to be like this Alexandra?"

"Are you really going to be like this Adam"

"I can see right through you"

"Same as me, I know who the hell is in your heart and mind"

Adam scoffs unbelievably, seeing he couldn't go on anymore. It was now or he would never get another chance to carry out his plans.

"You are unbelievable sometimes" He tsks but Alexandra ignores him, curious to see what he is going to do next.

"What are you planning to do, you bastard?" She thinks to herself while still gawking at him.

"This is the end of Alexandra Guerrero, I hope we will never meet again" Adam thinks to himself, gazing deep into her eyes.
