The Prison-Made Queen novel Chapter 378

It turned out that earlier, as soon as Judie, Leilani, and Yvonne had stepped out, Judie made a call directly to her father.

Judie wasn't the type to swallow her grievances silently. She sat in the back of the black Rolls-Royce, legs crossed, impatiently tapping her fingers against the edge of the window. Holding her phone to her ear, she pursed her red lips, her eyes full of irritation.

The moment the call connected, Judie dragged out her vowels, her voice sounding both spoiled and demanding as she poured out her grievances. "Dad! Your daughter was publicly humiliated today!"

On the other end of the line, Donovan Fulton was in the middle of a meeting. Hearing his precious daughter's tone, he immediately raised a hand to pause the meeting and walked to the window. His voice softened instantly. "What's wrong, Judie? Didn't you go to a concert with your friends today? Did someone bully you?"

Judie huffed. "Who else could it be? It was that guy, Clive Sloan!"

She laid out the story with dramatic flair. "Didn't you give me tickets for Box 1? I thought I'd go have some fun with my friends. But when Clive was doing the fan interaction lottery on stage, the big screen cut to us. In front of tens of thousands of people, he just looked cold and said, 'Why is it you?' Then, without even an explanation, he had the camera cut away to someone else!"

Judie got angrier as she spoke, her voice rising. "Dad, you know how many people were at that concert. What if someone recorded it and posted it online, claiming we snuck in? Your daughter doesn't want to be called a desperate clout-chaser! Dad, you have to be the judge here! When have I ever been treated like this?"
