Imperial Heights.
Once they got home, Anthony headed straight for the shower. Charlotte sank into the couch, one hand absently rubbing her slightly rounded belly as she scrolled through the latest headlines on her phone.
The Broadcasting Commission had just released its new approved projects list. Right in the center of the page was Storm, front and center, impossible to miss. There was a caption underneath: J’s newest masterpiece. Female lead: Emily. Male lead: To be decided. Honestly, in a show focused on the heroine, the guy was always just there to support anyway.
The whole internet lit up. It had been years since Eldoria had gotten international attention, and now everyone was talking about it. Before long, someone online picked up on something strange.
“Wait, aren’t the two J’s the same person?”
“I heard J finished Storm’s script in just three days. Yeah, they’re definitely the same!”
“They’ve cast the female lead already, but what about the male lead?”
Everyone who’d read the original comic knew— the male lead was everything. Super capable, a total flirt, and all the sweetness and fun in the whole story basically came from him. Instantly, while sleuths online debated J’s real identity, fans started tossing out their dream picks for the male lead.
“Honestly, there are barely any actors who can play someone who’s both a charming troublemaker and genuinely deep.”
Then, out of nowhere, some eagle-eyed fan jumped in. “What do you mean, there’s no one? Kenneth is perfect for this! It’s like he stepped right out of the pages.”
Charlotte saw that comment just as her phone buzzed with a new notification. It was a message from her editor.
