The Mocked Miss’s Hidden Crowns novel Chapter 1341

Charlotte tightened her grip, and with a swift motion, Damaris went flying across the room, landing hard on the floor.

“Hold her down,” Charlotte said.

She held out her hand, letting Anthony wipe it clean where she’d touched Damaris. Once he was done, Anthony tossed the tissue in the trash and signaled Hans to bring over a glass of warm water. His dark eyes lowered as his voice rumbled, “Need me to help?”

Charlotte glanced at his handsome face. For some reason, just looking at him made her feel calmer. She let out a small smile. “Yeah, that works.”

“The antidote,” she reminded him.

Anthony took the carnelian box, carefully opened the lid, and removed the container. He poured the antidote into the warm water, swirling it until it dissolved.

“I’ll hold him, you give him the medicine,” Anthony said, handing her the glass and moving to support Newell’s neck.

Charlotte stepped up to Newell, but giving him the antidote was harder than she thought. Even while unconscious, Newell seemed to resist, not wanting Lottie to sacrifice for him.

“Open his mouth,” Charlotte ordered, running out of patience.

Anthony did as she said, and Charlotte quickly poured the medicine in. When she saw Newell swallow, her whole body finally relaxed. The tightness in her chest loosened, and a faint smile appeared on her lips.

Newell was safe now. No one would be able to hurt him again.
