The Kiss that Sparked it All novel Chapter 857

Patricia had an epiphany, and she chuckled awkwardly, "Nothing special, just reminiscing about that year."

Ellinor smirked slightly, "Really? Do you remember what color Theo was wearing then?"

Patricia was stumped by the question. It was such a simple question that if she said she didn't remember, it would be so awkward.

Theo usually wore black or white clothes. So she decided to just pick one at random.

"Um... maybe he was wearing black..."

After hearing this answer, Theo squinted slightly; his eyes were deep and inscrutable.

Ellinor continued to quiz Patricia, "Ms. Howard, do you remember where Theo was bitten by a snake?"

Patricia was stumped again; she wasn't clear about the specific wound location, "Um... I think it was his arm."

Ellinor continued to press, "Left arm or right arm?"

Patricia was even more confused; she was getting a bit impatient, "Ellinor, why do you always ask for details? It feels like you're interrogating me."

Ellinor chuckled, "I'm just curious! Ms. Howard, you didn't forget such an important detail as whether you sucked the poison from Theo's left arm or right arm, did you?"

Patricia frowned, "I've already said, it's been so long, I really can't remember."

Ellinor smirked slightly and asked again, "Do you remember anything else you did for Theo after sucking out the poison?"

Patricia couldn't dodge this question, "Such as... milk, ham, and the like, I don't remember well. Anyway, I would bring anything easy to carry to Theo."

She thought the person who really saved Theo would have also brought this kind of food. What else could it have been? Certainly not gourmet meals every day.

However, Theo's face had become very serious; his gaze at Patricia was filled with coldness and sternness. He no longer had any pity for his former savior.

Ellinor stopped questioning Patricia and turned to look at Theo. She raised her eyebrows slightly, she was all smiles as she said, "Theo, listen to how good Ms. Howard was to you back then. In such a poor countryside, she even brought you milk and ham every day!"

Theo frowned deeply; he had already understood Ellinor's intention.

Patricia not only lied today and not only fabricated an infertility condition, she herself was a lie; she had never saved him from the beginning!
