That reed cup didn't last long before it withered and got tossed out by the housemaid during the clean-up.
Who would have thought Ellinor could make such a thing out of reeds.
“Theo, we got company!”
Ellinor’s voice snapped Theo out of his thoughts. He turned his head to see flashlight beams sweeping at the entrance, accompanied by the noise of a helicopter approaching.
Theo got up, took Ellinor's hand, and headed towards the entrance to check out the situation.
A helicopter was hovering low in the valley, with someone on board shining a flashlight around, searching the land.
It must be the rescue team!
Ellinor lifted her phone with the flashlight on and waved it toward the helicopter to get their attention.
The people on the helicopter noticed the flickering light below, changed direction, and flew towards them, slowly descending.
The cabin door opened, and Jonah and Kemp immediately jumped down.
"Theo, Ellinor, are you guys okay? Are you hurt?"
Jonah came over quickly, shining his flashlight on them to check them out.
Ellinor shook her head, "We're fine."
Theo glared at Jonah, "Did you guys remember to come save us only after finishing dinner?"
Kemp came over to explain, “Theo, the rescue team was stuck in traffic on the mountain. We called a helicopter to pick them up, but ours were too big to fly in the valley. Jonah had to borrow this small one; that’s why it took so long.”
Jonah nodded in agreement, “Yeah! I had to ask a lot of people before finally borrowing this small junky helicopter. None of us usually buy these tiny ones!”
Jonah looked at his friend of over twenty years in shock, "You're really thoughtful!"
Theo shot him a cold look, then boarded the helicopter.
Jonah shrugged and followed.
Once everyone was on board, the helicopter flew off.
...
Back at the cliff.
As soon as Ellinor stepped out of the helicopter, a tearful Belinda rushed over. She immediately hugged her, "Ellinor, thank God you're okay; you scared me to death."
