The IVF Secret That Shook a Dynasty novel Chapter 598

Vivica still wasn't entirely used to her aunt's overwhelming enthusiasm, but she didn't shy away from it either.

As Cheryl grasped her arms affectionately, Vivica smiled and greeted her, "Aunt Cheryl."

When her gaze shifted to Raymond, she hesitated for a second, swallowed hard, but finally greeted him naturally by his first name. "Raymond."

Raymond was visibly shocked, his face practically trembling with emotion. "Vivica, you... you finally called me Raymond!"

That left Hillary, who was standing right next to Cheryl.

Knowing her daughter had just acknowledged her aunt and cousin, Hillary's heart was already pounding with anticipation. She hadn't even heard the word 'Mom' yet, and she was already overwhelmed with emotion.

Vivica looked at Hillary, a sudden wave of awkwardness and nervousness washing over her.

Truthfully, accepting her aunt and cousin was infinitely easier than saying 'Mom'.

But no matter how hard it was, things had progressed to this point, and she knew she had to face it and accept it.

Their eyes locked. Everyone else was watching them, faces brimming with hope.

Vivica steadied herself, took a brief moment to mentally prepare, and finally spoke the word: "Mom."

Cheryl was thrilled, looking at her sister as if silently urging her to respond.

Hillary was even more ecstatic. Staring at her daughter, her eyes instantly turned red. She had been pushing her frail body to stand tall, but the sheer joy made her begin to tremble.

"Vivica, you... you finally accepted me. You finally called me Mom." It took a long moment before Hillary managed to choke out the words through her tears.

Vivica's own eyes welled up.

She pressed her lips together, fighting to keep her emotions in check, and quickly changed the subject. "Um... it's getting late, and the traffic is going to be bad. We should probably head out."
