"Ouch!"

Vivica cried out, caught completely by surprise. Reacting on pure instinct, she flung her arm out, pushing the little girl away.

Riley's daughter, only three years old, tumbled to the ground and immediately burst into tears.

"Vivica! You're a monster! How could you attack a three-year-old child?" Riley shouted, rushing to scoop up her daughter and launching into a tirade.

The little girl's attack had been so sudden that no one had seen exactly what happened. All they saw was Vivica shoving the child. As Riley's accusations filled the air, the movers glanced at Vivica, their eyes filled with contempt.

Vivica frowned, examining her right hand. "Is your daughter a dog?" she asked calmly. "Does she just run up and bite people?"

"You're lying! My daughter is the most well-behaved child. She would never do that!" Riley insisted.

Vivica held up her hand. "She may not have broken the skin, but her saliva is still on me. Should we run a DNA test?"

Riley, kneeling on the floor and cradling her crying daughter, faltered. But then, in a spot hidden from the others, she pinched the child's arm.

The little girl, clearly well-rehearsed, immediately launched herself at Vivica again, this time clinging to her leg.

"Bad woman! You're a wicked witch! You stole Mr. Sanford's house, and now my mommy and I have nowhere to live!" she wailed, trying to push Vivica back toward the door. "Get out, get out!"

Vivica was stunned. She couldn't believe Riley would use her own daughter as a shield to protect Fletcher's assets. Her back injury made it impossible to bend over or use any real force, and she couldn't bring herself to be harsh with a three-year-old. She stumbled back a few steps.

Outside the door, Dylan and Loretta were still causing a ruckus. Thankfully, the bodyguards and Fannie’s team were there to hold them back, preventing them from rushing in to attack Vivica again.
