Chapter 592 Rumors He Heard
Josie wondered if it could be the shy Harrison. Maybe he pretended not to understand games on the surface, but secretly used an alt account to add her and invite her to play.
After all, that was totally Harrison.
Back then, when she asked for his WhatsApp, he had said he didn’t even have it and didn’t mess with that kind of thing.
And yet, in the end, she still managed to add his contact.
So Josie was highly suspicious that Harrison was secretly playing somewhere out of sight, wanting to play with her in private.
While playing the game, she sneaked off to look for him.
Later, she found him holding his phone and looking very focused, so she decided to launch a surprise attack.
Who would have thought…
Harrison wasn’t playing games at all. He was soaking in the hot spring with a straight face while reading financial news.
Damn it!
“Harrison, you blockhead. You’re hopeless!”
Josie cursed at him angrily and turned around to leave.
Halfway there, she looked back, wondering if he felt guilty or annoyed.
Instead, Harrison kept looking at his phone and even curled his lips into a quiet smile.
She was so mad she almost died on the spot.
What kind of man was this?
How was it possible that there was a man in this world she, Josie, couldn’t win over?
She had dressed like that, and he still didn’t have a single thought or reaction.
Could it be… could it be that he wasn’t capable?
“Amelia, do
you
think Harrison might be gay, or just … not working?”

Josie had always been blunt and straightforward.
Once the thought crossed her mind, she said it out loud without hesitation.
Amelia fell silent.
How was she supposed to know that?
And also…

“Ahem, Josie, keep your voice down. He’s right behind you,” Amelia whispered as a reminder.
Then she awkwardly turned to Harrison and greeted him. “Mr. Ramley, you’re done soaking already?”
Amelia felt embarrassed on behalf of her best friend.
“I’m done. If I stayed any longer, who knows how much gossip someone would be spreading behind my back,” Harrison said coldly, clearly not in a good mood.
Hearing his icy voice, Josie stiffened instantly. Goosebumps rose all over her arms.
She slowly turned her head and body, forcing an awkward smile. “What a coincidence, Mr. Ramley.”
Oh God, what a perfect timing! She had just finished talking, and he was already behind her.
This damn fate was out to get her.
“Yeah, it was quite a coincidence,” Harrison said, a faint smile playing at his lips.
Then he grabbed her and pulled her up from her seat, dragging her into an empty corner.
Josie was petite and completely unprepared, so she was pulled away in just a few steps.
“I’m very straight, and I work just fine. Don’t spread nonsense about me,” Harrison said fiercely as he stared at her.
“Ahem, well, you didn’t have to secretly drag me over here just to explain. I naturally believe you’re very capable,” Josie said.
Her heart, which had already died halfway, suddenly came back to life. Her eyes sparkled as she blinked at him and smiled.
“You’re explaining so seriously. Are you worried I might misunderstand? It’s okay, I believe you. How about we give it a try tonight?”

As she spoke, she clung to his arm in a spoiled, playful way.
The next second, Harrison shook her off. “Stop acting cute. It’s disgusting,” he said.
He turned to leave, but before walking away, he mischievously ruffled her hair hard, messing it up completely, and then left.
