Gianna didn’t bother saying another word to that useless idiot.

Maxwell was broke now, and he couldn’t deal with Amelia either.

What a piece of trash!

She didn’t want to waste one more second on him. Instead, she planned to go home and think about how to use Miguel.

“Alright, let’s go home,” Maxwell said, also feeling worn out.

He never would’ve guessed that the sister he cared about most had thoughts like that hidden inside.

All he wanted right now was some sleep. After that, he’d figure out how to manage Nygard Entertainment.

Compared to the heavy mood on Maxwell’s side, Amelia’s side felt bright and cheerful.

After leaving the auction, Amelia got into Jeremy’s car and went back to the office with him.

They’d originally planned to drop Whitney off first, but she was perceptive enough to refuse.

She insisted on giving the couple some alone time and had the Currans’ driver take her home instead.

Inside the car, the two of them suddenly felt shy, unsure what to say.

Just as Jeremy was about to speak, his phone rang.

It was Anderson.

“Jeremy, you’re freaking amazing! My people told me you confessed to Ms. Nygard at my venue!

Anderson was way too loud and extra. If he’d known beforehand or been asked for ideas, things would’ve gotten over-the-top.

Jeremy knew Amelia didn’t like flashy displays. If he’d gone too far and gotten rejected, he would’ve been

crushed.

After hanging up, he glanced at his new girlfriend.

She was smiling brightly.

Suddenly, he leaned over and tickled her waist.

“Ahahaha-what are you doing?!” Amelia laughed hard again.

She rarely laughed like that. It was probably because today had been such a good day.

She was genuinely happy.

“Because you were secretly laughing at me.”

Jeremy knew she was ticklish. That was why he did it.

Trying to dodge him, Amelia laughed and half-whined, half-pouted, “I won’t do it again! I won’t secretly laugh anymore!”

Seeing her lively expression, Jeremy’s heart overflowed with affection, and he finally stopped.
