The Heiress Nobody Saw Coming (Natalie and Marcus) novel Chapter 682

Natalie chuckled softly. "I think that in a few days, I'll probably be able to tell if it's just one baby or twins. It's not that easy to conceive twins, having a boy and a girl is even rarer. Marcus, you're worrying too soon."

She ran her fingers through his hair, then wrapped her arms around his neck, pressing her cheek lightly against his ear.

Marcus' ears were burning hot. He didn't even notice when they had turned bright red. He continued carrying Natalie all the way back to the motel.

Once they reached it, he couldn't contain his excitement. He checked the room as he had when they first arrived.

Once he was done, he laid his clothes out on the bed, asking Natalie to sleep on them. Both of them hadn't undressed and just lay down in bed, fully clothed.

Marcus pulled Natalie into his arms, then sent a series of instructions to Elijah on the phone.

He ordered Elijah to take care of Lynette, Sue, and Ann. He was to send them to the school address that Natalie had provided.

Then, Marcus sent a message to Noah.

"Noah, Natalie is pregnant. Prepare all the necessary items for a pregnant woman and the medical team."

Noah replied, "Yes, Mr. Holden."

After sending the messages, he still couldn't suppress his excitement. He checked the time on his phone, wondering if Natalie's parents and brothers had gone to bed yet.

After a moment of hesitation, he finally decided to send a message to everyone in the Walker family.

Marcus: "Mother, Nat is pregnant. I'm going to be a dad, and you're going to be a grandmother."

Marcus: "Father, Nat is pregnant. I'm going to be a dad, and you're going to be a grandfather."

Marcus: "Lincoln, Nat is pregnant. I'm going to be a dad, and you're going to be an uncle."

Marcus: "Hector, Nat is pregnant. I'm going to be a dad, and you're going to be an uncle."

Marcus: "Timothy, Nat is pregnant. I'm going to be a dad, and you're going to be an uncle."

Marcus: "Mason, Nat is pregnant. I'm going to be a dad, and you're going to be an uncle."

He sent several messages to everyone in the Walker family, not forgetting to announce that he was going to be a dad.

Almost everyone in the family replied at the same time.

Charlotte: "Is Nat really pregnant? Take good care of her. I'll send you a list of things to be aware of. Based on her body and mood changes, you need to take extra good care of her."

William: "Take care of Nat, or I'll beat you up."

Lincoln: "Haha…"

Hector: "If she's pregnant, you have to take good care of her. If you have any questions, ask me anytime. I'm not an obstetrician, but I know a lot about pregnancy."

Timothy transferred 10,000 dollars with the message, "Buy Nat a gift and make sure she stays happy."

Mason: "I'm going to be an uncle? I'm so happy. Marcus, I'll help you take care of the child!"

Marcus couldn't help but smile at the Walkers' replies. Occasionally, he would steal glances at Natalie, who had fallen asleep in his arms. He felt an unprecedented sense of happiness.

At the Walker residence, after putting down the phone, Charlotte turned to William and sobbed.

"Our daughter is going to become a mother."

William nodded, "Yes, she is."

"It's too soon." Charlotte choked out. "I feel like she's still a child. How could she get pregnant so soon?"

Patting her shoulder gently, William said, "Don't think that way. After we got married, didn't we have Sky soon after? Nat has always been independent. I'm sure she must've prepared herself for this change in her life."

"I understand, but I just…" At that moment, Charlotte couldn't quite express how she felt.

"Alright, I understand. But honey, we're going to be grandparents now. Aren't you happy?" William gently patted her back.

He added, "We have to set up the baby's room quickly, and also arrange a postpartum care center, as well as hire a maternity nurse and nutritionists.

"We have to arrange them immediately and not let Wesley and Laura beat us to it. Just think of it, if they get to it first, when Natalie is recovering after her pregnancy, we won't get to see her."

His words snapped Charlotte out of her confused mind. "That's right, we need to get everything done before Wesley and Laura get ahead. Natalie has to recover from her pregnancy here. I want to be the first one to hold my grandchild."

"Exactly. That's the spirit. Now that Nat is going to be a mom, we'll play our roles as the grandparents. We'll make sure everything is set up for her, so she can enjoy the process of becoming a mom happily and peacefully." William smiled. "It's late now. Let's rest and start planning first thing tomorrow."

"Alright." Charlotte was comforted and no longer upset. She had already made plans in her mind for the next day.
