The Heiress Nobody Saw Coming (Natalie and Marcus) novel Chapter 753

Sierra brought her parents to Causeway Bay. From a distance, they saw Samuel sitting in a wheelchair by the gate, eyes fixed on the entrance of the villa district, waiting anxiously.

The moment he saw them, light instantly returned to Samuel's eyes. The corners of his mouth lifted uncontrollably as he eagerly wheeled toward them.

Causeway Bay was a gated villa community. Sierra and her parents had come by cab. Once they arrived at the entrance, she didn't have the driver take them to their door since it would require registration, and she didn't want the hassle.

Besides, Samuel's villa wasn't far from the community entrance. The three of them could use the walk, and it was also a chance for her parents to see the area.

"Sierra, Dad, Mom." Samuel reached them and immediately moved to take the suitcase from Sierra's hand. "Sierra, let me carry that."

"Forget it." Sierra refused. "You're still in a wheelchair. Just focus on healing."

Samuel's eyes turned slightly red. "Sierra, Dad, Mom, thank you for coming to live here with me."

Seeing him like this made Jonathan and Melissa feel a little awkward. They were the type to stand by their daughter, not their son-in-law, so they hadn't considered Samuel's position much.

But thinking about it more carefully, from Samuel's point of view, he had his own grievances too.

"Let's not dwell on that and just head inside." Jonathan rubbed his nose and took the initiative to push Samuel's wheelchair forward.

Since Sierra had said she still loved Samuel and brought them here to live together, it meant she wanted to give it another try.

As her parents, they needed to set aside their pride and work on rebuilding their relationship with their son-in-law.

"Thank you, Dad. I can do it myself. Don't tire yourself out." Samuel paused, then continued, "Dad, Mom, I was overcome with anger before. I said a lot of hurtful things without thinking. I want to apologize to both of you and Sierra.

"I'm sorry. It was my fault."

"Come on, that's all in the past now. What's the point in bringing it up again?" Jonathan quickly added, "As parents, all we want is for you both to be happy. But Samuel, I need to be clear with you. As long as Cee's mother and I are alive, we will never allow you to hurt her.

"We're biased and don't want to argue with logic. If you ever hurt our daughter, we'll tell her to divorce you without hesitation."

"Dad, Mom, I'm sorry. I was wrong before." Samuel kept his tone low and humble. His entire demeanor showed nothing but remorse.

"I apologize for the words I said. I never actually did anything to hurt anyone. I just have a foul mouth.

"But I've learned from my mistakes now. A foul mouth is still a problem. Harsh words can cut deep. From now on, I'll think before I speak. Thank you for still being willing to come here with Sierra."

"Alright, enough with the emotional stuff. Let's go inside." Melissa smoothed things over. Samuel never used to cry this easily, but his eyes were already red after a few simple words.

"Okay, Mom." Samuel took a deep breath and held his emotions back. Melissa wheeled the suitcase into the house while Jonathan pushed Samuel inside. Sierra instantly found herself with nothing in her hands.

Since they found her again, her parents had doted on her, treating her like a treasure. How could they tolerate Samuel saying hurtful things to their beloved Sierra in that situation? That's why they supported her without question when she wanted a divorce.

But now, seeing Samuel's genuine apology and remembering what Sierra had said—that they had been childhood sweethearts, had gone through everything together, that even when they fought overseas, it was Sierra hitting Samuel and not the other way around—they couldn't deny that Samuel had a good side.

Samuel had already told Maggie to clean and prepare the rooms, restock the fridge, and whip up a detailed spread he had planned in advance, all of which were dishes the three of them liked.

Samuel had always remembered the preferences of Sierra and her parents.

"Dad, Mom, your room is the biggest bedroom on the first floor. You both don't get around as easily anymore. There's no need to go up and down stairs.
