Jason said simply, “Lilly, I’m buying the morning-after pill for you to take.”

Lilly was stunned.

She was already pregnant. There was no way she could take that pill.

Lilly shook her head. “I won’t take it!”

Jason looked at her, a slow smile spreading across his lips. “Lilly, what do you mean? I didn’t use protection last night. I’m healthy, my reproductive functions are perfectly fine. If you don’t take the pill, what happens if you get pregnant?”

Jason cut her off. “Or is it that you want to have my baby, Lilly?”
