The employee gasped, “Mr. Farill! Mrs. Farill!”
Being called “Mrs. Farill” made Lilly’s face flush a brilliant red. “Jason, put me down. People are watching!”
Jason strode into the building with long, steady steps. A smirk played on his lips. “Let them look. It’s not like I can cover their eyes.”
More and more employees turned to greet them. “Good morning, Mr. Farill! Good morning, Mrs. Farill!”
Lilly’s face was as red as a tomato. She could only bury her face in Jason’s chest to hide from their stares.
But their whispers still reached her ears. “Oh my god, did our president just carry his wife to work?”
“Is that Hanna?”
“You can tell with one look that it’s not.”
“The boss used to carry Lilly like that. I think that’s still her!”
“Our boss and Lilly really are a perfect match. They’re both gorgeous.”
Lilly wished she could cover her ears and block it all out.
Jason glanced down at her shy expression and let out a low chuckle.
Jason carried Lilly all the way to his presidential office and set her down on the sofa.
Lilly immediately tried to escape.
But Jason grabbed her slender wrists and pinned her against the sofa cushions. “Where do you think you’re going?”
“Let me go! I don’t want to be here!” Lilly protested.
“Being disobedient, are we?”
Jason lowered his head and captured her lips in a searing kiss.
Mmm.
Lilly’s mind was already a mess, and his kiss made it explode. She struggled, twisting in his grasp. “Don’t do this! Jason, stop!”
