The Genius Ex-Wife’s Revenge Portfolio novel Chapter 801

Jessa felt like she’d just been humiliated in front of everyone, and the worst part was, it was Moss and Joanna who had done it.

Now, all eyes were on her. People were whispering, pointing, some snickering, some looking down on her, and a few even seemed to pity her. The halo she wore as the Wade family’s golden girl had put her at the top, and now it was gone. She’d fallen hard.

That image, that title, shattered just like that.

Why did it have to turn out this way?

Her chest burned with resentment.

Suddenly, someone in the crowd called out, “Hey, look, Mr. Harmon’s here!”

David was here.

Jessa looked up. The crowd parted, and David stepped into view, tall and striking. He wore a black suit that looked like it had been made just for him, and every step he took was steady and confident. He carried himself like he owned the place.

Jessa couldn’t take her eyes off him. This was the man she loved.

Louise leaned in close and whispered, “Don’t worry, Jessa. We haven’t lost yet. David’s here, and he’s our ace. You might not be the Wade family heiress anymore, but you can still become Mrs. Harmon.”

Jessa smiled. That’s right. She could marry David. That dream was still alive.

David walked up, and Moss and Joanna greeted him. “David, you’re here.”

He nodded, his gaze sweeping over everyone until he spotted Ella. For a moment, he just stared, looking like he’d been caught off guard.

Ella looked incredible tonight.

It was impossible not to stare.

Lilly grinned and teased, “Hey, are you checking out Ella? You’re practically staring holes into her.”

David didn’t even try to hide it, and Ella just gave a tiny, knowing smile.

Louise spoke up, her tone smooth. “Mr. Harmon, you arrived just in time. The Harmon and Wade families have had a marriage agreement for years. Jessa is your fiancée. Have you given any more thought to marrying her?”
