The Genius Ex-Wife’s Revenge Portfolio novel Chapter 337

A sharp sting snapped her back to reality. David had his fingers clamped tight around her chin.

Ella winced, her brows knitting together. “You’re hurting me.”

David just looked at her, a faint, sarcastic smile tugging at his lips. “I never knew you had this much charm.”

He’d seen men fall for her before. Luke was probably the most impressive student in years, and even he hadn’t been able to resist Ella, not caring at all that she’d been married once.

Ella took advantage of the moment, snatching her phone back. “All that charm and I still can’t win over you, can I?”

She turned to walk away.

Suddenly, a strong arm wrapped around her waist, pulling her firmly against him.

She felt the hard lines of his body pressed to hers, only a thin layer of fabric separating them.

Ella squirmed, annoyed and a little panicked. “Mr. Harmon, what are you doing? Let me go or I’ll scream.”

“Ella, haven’t we met before?”

She froze in place.

David pulled out a photo. It was the one of her, standing next to her own reflection in a shop window.

Ella’s eyes went wide. How did he get that picture?

David’s gaze didn’t waver. He asked again, “Ella, have we met before?”

Her mind spun. She never thought this photo would end up in his hands. What was she supposed to say?

He didn’t remember what happened in that cave. Should she tell him? Should she try to bring those memories back?

But he had Jessa now.
