The Genius Ex-Wife’s Revenge Portfolio novel Chapter 325

The sleepy girl act was all fake.

So was the story about her flunking out of school.

Ella was the genius everyone had been whispering about.

The genius girl everyone talked about but no one really knew, was Ella.

“I can’t believe she is actually this pretty. She looks like she walked out of a dream. Beauty and brains? Unfair.”

“Oh no, I think I just fell for her.”

Jessa’s hands curled into fists, knuckles white. She just couldn’t wrap her head around it. The girl she’d always dismissed, the one she’d looked down on, was actually the person she’d envied the most.

Rachel was just as shocked. She stared at the stage, mind racing. Hadn’t she sent Ella away to the countryside? So how was Ella standing up there now, center stage, in the spotlight?

Somebody behind them groaned, clearly annoyed. “Can you two sit down? You’re blocking our view of the genius.”

“If you don’t move, we’ll call security and have you kicked out.”

Rachel’s cheeks burned. She dropped into her seat right away. She tugged Jessa’s sleeve, whispering, “Jessa, sit down.”

Jessa sat, nails digging into her palms, but she barely felt the sting.

Up on stage, Ella introduced herself. Applause rolled through the room, loud and unstoppable.

Everyone was thrilled to welcome her.

The lights overhead caught her features, making her look almost ethereal, so beautiful no one could look away.

Ella flashed a confident smile. “It’s such an honor to be here with all of you. I’d like to begin my speech now. Today’s topic is…”

She started, her voice clear and steady, every word landing perfectly. Her ideas were fresh and sharp, and when she finished, the applause just didn’t stop.
