The tall Ghost King dressed in red felt no fear towards the Peach Wood Sword in her hand, his gaze sweeping over the entire villa, yet he could not detect the presence of Sebastian.
The Ghost King’s face suddenly showed anger as he asked in a deep voice,
"Where is he?"
"I’ve hidden him."
Scarlett Jennings said expressionlessly, "Living people don’t marry in the Netherworld. Your forcible marking has already violated the laws of the Underworld."
The Ghost King just laughed coldly in front of her,
"What do the laws of the Underworld count for? I am the Yin Mountain Ghost King, and you, a mere Master, dare to play tricks in front of me."
As he spoke, his aura suddenly turned cold,
"Hidden him? Then I’ll find him."
With those words, as he lifted his hand, Scarlett instinctively felt a gust of shadow wind. In the next second, the villa before her eyes had already transformed into the appearance of the Netherworld.
Her eyes slightly darkened.
Another Ghost Realm.
The surrounding shadow energy dispersed continuously, yet in front of her, there was no one left.
It was clear that the opponent never intended to fight her from the start.
Secretly cursing in her heart, Scarlett remained utterly calm.
Having been trapped in a Ghost Realm once before, she would not be trapped a second time.
With a twist of her hand, she collected a Golden Light, slapping it into the Peach Wood Sword before using it as a pen to draw a Talisman in the void.
Where the Peach Wood Sword passed, golden light painted its path.
...
Meanwhile.
The array Scarlett used to conceal Sebastian’s presence was instantly broken as the Ghost Realm unfolded.
The Ghost King did not need to move. Little ghosts immediately followed the aura to find Sebastian.
They swarmed up, just about to snatch the Ghost King’s "bride," when suddenly, a few slaps sent them flying away.
Sophie Harper stood like a one-woman blockade in front of Sebastian, hands on her hips,
"Where did these little ghosts come from, get lost!"
Standing behind Sophie, Chu Mian watched with glowing eyes as Sophie stood against the ghosts.
No wonder the human Master named Scarlett Jennings was so confident; turns out she had a Big Ghost backing her up.
Feeling reassured, he gained confidence.
However, Chu Mian did not know that after Sophie slapped a few little ghosts away, her expression started to show signs of collapsing.
Because just as the array’s barrier was broken, she sensed the Ghost King’s aura.
That’s simply not something she could contend with.
Scarlett, where are you? >
Seeming to sense Sophie’s call, Scarlett on the other side of the Ghost Realm quickly drew the final stroke of the rune.
"The Three Realms bind me, Golden Light break the barrier, darkness of Taiyin, reveal the light, Ghost Realm deity, break!"
With her shout of command, she swept the Peach Wood Sword vigorously, and the massive rune in the void scattered spiritual light, flying towards the dark border of the Ghost Realm.
The golden rune soon attached itself to a barrier. In the next second, it began to pull apart; with the rune’s pull, the barrier of the Ghost Realm was quickly torn open like someone pulling it from both sides.
External energy continuously seeped in, causing the previously unruffled Ghost King to change his expression abruptly.
No longer waiting for the little ghosts to act, he suddenly got up.
With a flash of movement, he appeared in the room where Sebastian was.
Originally in the process of slapping away little ghosts, Sophie was instantly subdued by the terrifying ghost energy, becoming stiff on the spot.
With a wave of his hand, the Ghost King effortlessly threw Sophie and Chu Mian away.
"Chu Mian!"
