The CEO's Unplanned Heir novel Chapter 335

She made no effort to hide her relationship with Arnold; after all, it was common knowledge. However, Lisa probably didn't want anyone to know the real reason behind their marriage.

A slight tremble played around Lisa's lips, and she said, "Aurelia, Lizzy is a bit blunt. Don't take it to heart. Let's put the past behind us and start afresh, as one big family."

Lizzy snorted, "Lisa, you better watch out for their ongoing fling."

Lisa shot her a stern look and said, "Lizzy, watch your words. We're here to discuss wedding plans with Aurelia. We're going to be family, and I trust her to make the right decisions."

Lizzy pouted and remained silent. She hated Aurelia for stealing the most handsome man in the world.

Aurelia noticed that Lisa was much more composed and shrewd than Lizzy.

She had anticipated this. It was clear that they were here to show off.

But she would not consider a divorce when her goal was marriage.

Arnold was oversimplifying things.

"I'm not one to dwell on the past. Once I've turned the page, it's a closed chapter," she stated.

Just then, Sheryl walked in, having finished her phone call outside.

"How's the discussion going? Any specific wedding requirements?"

"I'm pretty easy-going, no special requests," Lisa responded with a smile.

"But it's a once-in-a-lifetime event, so how can you be so casual?" Sheryl questioned.

Lisa laughed, "I trust you and Aurelia to handle it."

When Sheryl turned her gaze to Aurelia, she recalled the rumors she'd heard when she returned to Elysium. Aurelia was planning to divorce Leopold and marry Arnold.

She'd marry Arnold when Leopold planned to marry Evelyn. Now that Arnold was marrying someone else, she was back with Leopold. What a formidable woman.

After taking a sip of her coffee, she turned to Lisa, "Arnold didn't come back with you?"

"He'll be back in a couple of days," Lisa replied.

"Is the wedding dress ready?"

"It's being tailored."

This sentiment found support from Leopold.

Leopold descended the staircase and said, "You are right."

He drew Aurelia into his arms, "I don't want anyone bringing up the past, or else they'll face punishment."

Aurelia silently let him hold her, giving him face in front of their guests.

Sheryl thought he was keeping Aurelia because he was the one who had first abandoned her.

He must've been taken aback when Aurelia, so decisively, left with Arnold.

So he was now regretful, had ditched Evelyn, and was looking for Aurelia.

Men were always like that, only cherishing what they had lost.

However, no one knew how long he'd like her. After all, the men in the Stirling family were known for their fickle feelings.

Elowen was the most unhappy person in the house. Her efforts over the past three years had been in vain.
