The Billionaire's True Heiress: From Fake Jewel to Real Crown novel Chapter 264

Claire could feel how genuinely kind and caring Ophelia was. “Yolande really isn’t bad at all. She upset Tiffany so much, just by trying to be fair.” Yolande had stood up for Claire, proving her outfit wasn’t some cheap knockoff. The look on Tiffany’s face had been priceless.

“Let her be angry. You don’t need to worry about it,” Ophelia said.

After everything that had happened, Ophelia finally saw things for what they were. Over the years, being good to Yolande had somehow made Tiffany even greedier, always wanting things that weren’t meant for her. Yolande was a good kid, but it was a shame she had to deal with a mom like that.

“Yeah.” Claire definitely wasn’t going to lose sleep over it.

Ophelia felt reassured. Claire came across as calm and confident, not the type to let anyone push her around. The way she’d put Tiffany in her place earlier had been seriously impressive.

“Owen’s got nothing to do this afternoon. Want him to go out with you?” Ophelia offered.

“No, really, it’s fine.” Claire shook her head. “I’m heading over to the Green family’s house later.”

“The Green family?” Ophelia’s eyes widened. “Are you going to visit Baldrick for your grandma?”

Claire nodded. “That’s right.”

“We actually ran into Baldrick at the airport when we first came to Cabinda. He invited me and my teammates to fly on his private jet. That might be why Owen couldn’t find my flight details,” Claire explained. Private flights were way more secretive than regular ones.

“Then you should definitely go. You were busy with training before, but now that you’re on break, it’s only polite to thank him in person.” Ophelia motioned for Claire to sit. “Norris has to go to the university and Phil’s off to work, so I’ll have Owen go with you.”
