The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart novel Chapter 424

The next morning, Grace showed up at Radiant Residences, bags in hand.

Emily greeted her with a smile.

"Where are Bri and Zac?" She asked.

"They aren't down yet." Emily directed a servant to bring Grace's bags upstairs, then helped her into the dining room. "Are you moving in?"

"Yes. If I don't, who knows when those two will sort out their issues?"

Grace was quite fond of Brittany and couldn't bear to see conflict between them.

"Looking after Mrs. Salter these days, I've come to see she's a good woman. She's just mad at Mr. Salter right now. Things will get better once they open up to each other."

Brittany, though of humble origins, was remarkable in both ability and beauty.

Apart from her grudge against Isaac, she was always very respectful and kind to others.

Grace sighed. "I hope they can sort things out soon."

Upon waking, Brittany found herself looking at Isaac's face. Instinctively, she slipped out of his arms and swung her legs out of bed.

With her big belly, she moved with difficulty. The noise woke Isaac, who got up to help her. "Need to use the bathroom?"

Knowing he wouldn't listen to her, Brittany gave up struggling, made her way to the bathroom, and prepared to undress.

Noticing that Isaac hadn't left, she looked over at him. "I need to pee."

Isaac crossed his arms, a hint of interest in his eyes. "I'm here in case your leg cramps up."

Even arguing with him was better than his silence.

"Scoundrel!"

Brittany, her face red with anger, slammed the bathroom door shut.

Isaac chuckled as he narrowly escaped a hit to the nose.

Hearing his laughter, Brittany clenched her fists. After a while, having done her business and freshened up, she emerged from the bathroom.

The bedroom was empty. He must have left.

Changing into her house clothes, Brittany went downstairs and saw Grace in the living room.

Having been busy all of last night, Brittany was very hungry. She sipped her milk and ate heartily, seeming quite satisfied.

Seeing her eat so happily, Grace couldn't help but frown.

"Bri, go easy on the tomato sauce, so as not to hurt your stomach."

Brittany dipped her fork in the tomato sauce and popped it in her mouth, managing to curb her appetite. "Granny, it's fine. I just love this stuff."

Grace smiled helplessly.

She had heard people say that pregnant women who like sour food will have boys, while those who prefer spicy food will have girls. Given Brittany's love for sour food, maybe she was carrying a boy.

The pink pajamas she'd prepared might not be needed.

Brittany was eating so fast that she nearly choked. Isaac quickly poured her a glass of juice, but Brittany refused it and poured another glass herself.

Isaac's smile froze.

Grace could tell things were awkward between them and sighed.

"I heard from Emily that you two are sleeping in separate rooms now?"
