She screwed over the Field family and fell out with Jason.
Brittany demanded her phone back from the coppers but they blew her off. She had to bring up the law. Only then did they give her the phone.
Brittany unlocked her phone and dialed Isaac.
Judging by the time, Isaac should be on an international flight. The phone rang for ages, but no one picked up.
Brittany tried several more times, but still no answer.
Finally, she had no choice but to give up.
Fred kept Brittany up all night, grilling her in every way possible, trying to break her defenses.
But Brittany clammed up.
Both sides were in a deadlock.
Late into the night, Fred was still not letting up.
Brittany was preggers and exhausted; she was at the end of her rope.
She rested her head on her hand, her eyelids heavy.
All of a sudden, a blinding light shone on her.
Fred barked, "Talk now!"
Brittany said helplessly, "I've said what I needed to say. This has nothing to do with me."
Fred was holding a torch, "If you won't talk, don't even think about sleeping!"
Brittany was livid but couldn't fight back.
The standoff lasted for an hour, and Brittany was tortured to bits.
"Fred."
Someone knocked on the door, "Someone's here to bail her out."
"No release," Fred swore to make Brittany talk, and there was no way he would let her go!
"The chief said to let her go."
Fred was unhappy but didn't dare to defy the chief. He left immediately.
Brittany was released by the police. She walked out of the interrogation room, her legs wobbly.
"Bri!"
William rushed forward to support Brittany, "What happened to you?"
With a frown, William helped Brittany into the car and drove her home himself.
Upon reaching the parking lot, William got out of the car.
Suddenly, someone sprang out from somewhere and whacked William on the back of his head with a stick!
"Bri, run!"
William only had time to shout out before he collapsed.
That guy kept smashing the car windows, glass flying everywhere. Under the dim light, Brittany's terrified eyes were exposed.
She took her phone out of her pocket, her fingers shaking. Suddenly, she accidentally dialed Isaac's number.
However, that guy grabbed her phone, opened the car door with his other hand, and dragged Brittany out of the car.
"What are you trying to do?"
Brittany looked at him in horror, her eyes wide open. The guy raised his stick, his gaze landing on her stomach.
Brittany instinctively covered her belly but was knocked down by the guy.
A searing pain hit her, and Brittany broke out in a cold sweat. She watched the man raise his stick to hit her, her eyes wide open in desperation.
