He reached out, taking the cup of water. "Stop drinking it."
Is this stuff really that good? Is it worth her drinking so many cups every day?
"No, I want to drink." Brittany stared straight at the lemonade. "I want to drink it."
Unable to stand her acting cute, Isaac passed it back to her. Brittany kept on sipping, finally looking satisfied, "I want to eat a lemon."
She thought the lemonade was not sour enough.
Isaac was speechless.
He calmly closed the cup and put it in the drawer. "Okay."
Having drunk her fill, Brittany was sleepy. She leaned on him, ready to fall asleep.
Isaac found it amusing. "All you know is eating and sleeping, don’t you? You’re like a little pig."
Was this a pregnant woman or a pig?
Brittany grabbed his hand, biting his finger, putting on a fierce face. "Shut up."
This man was getting worse, he was calling her a pig!
Isaac didn't feel any pain. He didn't take her seriously. He leaned down and lightly kissed her forehead. "Okay, I’ll shut up."
Brittany relaxed a bit, her small hand gripping his tightly, falling asleep quietly.
When they arrived at the apartment, Brittany was already asleep. Isaac carried her into the bedroom before contacting Nathan.
"Arrange the Bennett family dinner tomorrow, don't let anyone touch her."
"Yes."
Hearing the noise, Grace knew Brittany was back.
She immediately got up. "Bri, you're back—"
Isaac gestured for her to be quiet, and Grace immediately stopped talking.
After Isaac had tucked her in, he left the bedroom.
"What happened to Bri?"
Grace thought she was unwell, waiting at the door.
"She's full."
Rubbing his temples, Isaac helped Grace up.
Fortunately, over the past few years, she visited Noel abroad every year, and they were very close.
But this year, she couldn't go.
"Not yet, but once he graduates, I'll bring him back."
After all, Noel was a member of the Salter family. After spending so many years abroad, he should return and help the family after graduation.
"That's good."
Isaac sat in the living room for half an hour before washing up and going to bed.
Since Brittany got pregnant, her sleep had become lighter.
She instinctively moved closer when she felt him next to her. The man wrapped his arms around her waist. "Don't move."
Brittany whimpered, wanting to say something, but she was too sleepy to open her eyes.
Late into the night, Imperial Airport.
A flight landed, a handsome young man came out of the exit, picked up his passport, and gave it a kiss!
"I'm back!"
