"Ms. Dustin, do you know who we are?"
The guy didn't expect Brittany to know their true identities.
He had always been very careful. How could Brittany have found out?
Slowly, Brittany reached out, lifted her clothes, and wiped the blood from her forehead, revealing a pretty face. "That bread is from the bakery next to the Dustin family's house. I can tell it."
At first, she thought they were Loraine's fans.
But the bread made her realize that Robert was the real culprit.
The guy chuckled a few times, surprised that his identity had been revealed by a loaf of bread. “Ms. Dustin, since you know who we are, stay put. We won’t harm you now.”
Brittany leaned against the wall, with blood continuing to seep from her wound.
The guy found a bandage and tossed it to Brittany. "Wrap yourself up; it would be a shame if you died now."
Brittany took the bandage with difficulty, as her hand was barely functional.
Her fingers trembled severely. After several attempts, she still couldn't unwrap the bandage.
Unable to watch anymore, the guy walked over, squatted down, and helped her open the bandage, "Ms. Dustin, your hand is pretty messed up, huh?"
"Thanks to you guys."
Brittany scoffed. Did they really think they were the good guys? Wasn't this all their doing?
The guy clicked his tongue.
Ms. Dustin always had a sharp tongue.
Brittany was pretending to be docile but was actually gathering strength. Suddenly, she pushed the guy down and, using a shard of glass hidden in her hand, stabbed fiercely at the man's neck.
The guy didn't expect Brittany to be able to fight back, and they began to struggle.
Derek had a wound on his back that was pretty bad. He saw them struggle and wanted to help but couldn’t.
Brittany shouted, "Derek, get out of here! Tell Zakky I've been kidnapped!"
Her phone was taken away, so Isaac wouldn't be able to find her for a while. She had to take a chance.
Derek knew Brittany was right, but he couldn't leave her alone.
After walking for a while, he was completely exhausted. Everything went dark and he collapsed.
This wouldn't do.
Brittany was still in that guy's hands; he had to find Isaac as soon as possible.
Derek managed to get up, but after a few steps, he collapsed again and was completely out of strength.
He propped himself up, looked around desperately, and noticed a pile of rocks not far away.
He couldn't stand up; he was out of energy.
He could only crawl.
He crawled slowly as darkness occasionally clouded his vision, but he clenched his teeth, refusing to give up.
Both his palms and knees were scraped and blood continuously dripped onto his clothes.
Blood trailed behind him for a few meters. Derek picked up a rock and struggled to turn over. He lifted the rock and smashed it down onto his own ear!
