Isaac scooped her up, his hand around her waist, giving her a squeeze, "Whatever you want, babe."
He didn't really care too much about these things, as long as she was happy, anything was good.
Brittany, her arms around his neck, said, "Loraine came to my studio today, said she's still pining for Mr. Salter."
With a sigh, she added, "Mr. Salter, he doesn't look too good."
Isaac was taken aback by his wife's sudden critique of his looks.
"Why'd you say that?" Isaac asked.
"He's always strutting about with a mask on. Looks like he's hiding an ugly mug." Brittany had her legs wrapped around his waist. Admiring his handsome face. she planted a couple of kisses on him, "Not like you, you're the most handsome. Who knows what he's really like underneath that facade of elegance! I really feel for his wife, does she know what her husband's up to?"
That kiss, it stirred something in Isaac. Brittany found herself tossed on the bed, and Isaac didn't stop even as she was drifting off to sleep.
......
Brittany woke up, feeling sore all over. Isaac was still there, getting dressed, his back to her. She propped herself up, her body felt weak.
"Zakky, we can't keep doing this." Brittany said.
She had to work, and her body couldn't hold up to this every day.
Isaac buttoned up his shirt, walked over to the bed, gave her a little massage, "Take a break from the studio today, you've got a celebration to attend tonight. Bring someone with you, don't let anyone push you around."
"Got it." Brittany said.
Brittany, her arms around his neck, pouted for a kiss, and Isaac, ever the good sport, let her have her way. If he didn't have a meeting this morning, he might have gone another round with her.
Brittany, sensing his thoughts, a twinkle of mischief in her eyes, let him go with a satisfied grin, "Zakky, sorry babe. You've gotta get to work, off you go."
Isaac saw through her play, took her hand, gave it a kiss, "Get some rest."
Brittany curled up in bed, watched him leave, then drifted back to sleep.
They arrived at the company.
Isaac was engrossed in the meeting. After it ended, Derek wanted to discuss the celebration with him.
"I've got some important matters to take care of right now. We can talk about the rest later." Isaac politely turned down Derek, then left with Nathan.
Derek watched Isaac leave, then turned to his secretary, "Does Mr. Salter have something going on?"
"I'm not sure., I heard he's going to the Crawley family." His secretary said.
"The Crawley family?" Derek asked.
"Yes, I heard from Nathan. Mr. Salter's been looking for a collection, seems to be with Mr. Edgar." The secretary whispered, "Maybe for someone important?"
She privately speculated, it might be that wife they had never seen. But Derek misunderstood, thinking Isaac was planning a surprise for Loraine. He believed Loraine deserved the best of everything. It seemed, Isaac wasn't completely indifferent to Loraine. Maybe he just lost his way for a while, "I knew it, Isaac still has feelings for her."
