Sweet Mischief's Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 59

"Do you feel awful because I don't touch you?"

Mia, “Why would I feel awful?”

Andre's gaze shifted downwards, landing on her well-developed chest. Mia quickly lowered her head, following his gaze. Suddenly...

Their foreheads collided.

Mia quickly looked up, meeting his gaze. At the same time, Andre also lifted his head, looking at a surprised Mia.

Suddenly... their lips met!

Mia's eyes blinked rapidly, and her mind went blank, even forgetting to dodge. Her heart pounding like crazy.

Andre's gaze was intense, focusing on the smooth-skinned Mia in front of him. His Adam's apple bobbed, his lips slightly parted, his body slightly leaned forward, and gently covered her lips.

The moist heat of his lips, the warmth of his breath, all stimulated Mia. She raised her hands, pushed against his shoulders, and shoved him away. She rolled off the bed, ran barefoot to the couch, wrapped herself in a blanket, and covered her head.

Inside the blanket, her heart was still racing. Mia closed her eyes, comforting herself, “I've been kissed before, why am I reacting so much this time?”

A little fairy popped up in Mia's mind. The fairy told her, "Last time he was drunk when you kissed, only you knew, so you weren't embarrassed, but now you two looked at each other and kissed, so embarrassing..."

Mia started debating with the fairy, "He should be more embarrassed. I knew we kissed last night."

The fairy replied, "This man probably had many women. He should be used to it."

"Not necessarily, he and Jillian are not even dating."

"I didn't say his woman was Jillian."

They argued back and forth in their minds.

Meanwhile, the man on the bed had unknowingly walked over to the sofa. Mia felt his approach, her body tensing up. Through the thin blanket, she saw a dark figure bending over her, and the next moment, she was lifted into the air, along with the blanket.

Mia's heart pounded, and she was put back on the bed again.

Andre pulled back her blanket, revealing her head. Mia clung to the blanket, not wanting Andre to see her.

"Use the big blanket. Leave this small one on the couch," Andre said.

It seemed that the kiss didn't embarrass Andre at all. Perhaps he indeed had many women.

Mia refused, "Uh, no."

Andre looked at Mia, curled up. His Adam's apple bobbed, he reached under her and pulled the blanket away.

"Hey!" Mia's face was exposed. Her blanket was stolen, and she glared at Andre angrily.

Andre looked at her, chuckled softly, "Sleep on the bed, then you won't feel uncomfortable."

"I don't want to."

She rolled off the bed and headed for the couch.

"If you take one more step, I'm buying the Irvin family." The man threatened.

Mia stopped, turned around and responded, "Hmm, I don't believe you. You won't." After that, she even made a face at Andre.

Andre looked at her quirky antics, and couldn't help but laugh, his eyes filled with affection. The current her was not afraid of his threats at all.

Andre patted the bed, "Come sleep, if you don't behave, you'll have to stay here tomorrow."

"I turned on the light, so I should turn it off."

Mia pouted, mumbling, "You're just looking for an excuse; you want to pin me down."

Andre laughed, feeling very good.

The girl under the bed was softer than the bed, and Andre didn't want to get up.

Mia pushed him, pushing him off. "Andre, you have to move me out tomorrow."

It was already late, Mia rarely had the chance to lie on such a comfortable big bed, and soon she fell asleep.

The moonlight was strong, the wind outside the window stirred the leaves, and the shadow of the trees swayed. All was peaceful. Inside the room, the orange light illuminated both their faces.

After Mia fell asleep, Andre turned on the lamp again. He admired his sleeping wife beside him, suddenly remembering their kiss.

She probably didn't know, but that kiss they shared yesterday, was a surprise he created under the guise of coincidence. Their foreheads touched, and when she looked up, he also looked up, intentionally leaning his body towards her softness.

Their kiss last night lingered in his mind, but tonight he hadn't had a chance to taste her lips, because she gently pushed him away and ran away shyly.

In the evening, he asked his nephew a question, "What was she like?"

The nephew's answer wasn't wrong. But it wasn't what he was looking for. What exactly did he want? There wasn't a clear cut answer.

It seemed, he had only two goals in mind. One was to punish Leo, no reason given. The other was to mess with her, again, for no reason.

All thanks to these two being so close today, giving him, Mia’s husband, no respect at all.

She was already asleep, and the wind outside was becoming gentle. The stars were bright tonight, the flowers in the garden were blooming, and she was in his arms, feeling so soft.
