Countless members of the higher management came looking for Sebastian for the rest of the day, either to discuss contracts or the projects they were working o n.
However, they were all reminded of the small child the director had brought to the office earlier today upon seeing the sign outside the door. 1
They were all intelligent individuals who knew instinctively that the mother shouldn't be far behind i f the child were there.
Sabrina finally regained consciousness when she was moved to sit beside the windows of the inner bedroom. They were on the 66th floor of the building, and without anything blocking the windows, she could see everything from afar, and so could the others if they decided to look in. 1
For a moment, Sabrina felt as though she had been lying to herself for her entire life and the woman in the present was who she really was.
She could not help but felt ashamed for her true self, s o much so that she couldn't face the reality that her true self was somehow discovered by a man like Sebastian.
The chilling breeze had cleared her mind, and she was finally capable of comprehending the situation
completely.
She hastily removed her arms that were previously wrapped around the man's neck and fell back as soon as she let go. The man immediately reached out his hands to grab onto her by the waist and head.
"Were you trying to get yourself killed?!" He roared.
"Let me go! Please just let me go! I might as well die! I might as well jump off from here and fall into pieces!" At that very moment, Sabrina couldn't think of anything but to escape.
She was not only worried that Aino would come back t o find her in this embarrassing state, but she was too ashamed to step out of this room to face anyone.
She came over to the Ford Group and into Sebastian's office with the sole intention of looking for her daughter. How did it end up like this? Sabrina could die from the shame alone!
She tried her best to wiggle out of the man's arms in a n attempt to savor what was left of her dignity, but instead fell miserably onto the ground without even making a step. She had lost all strength and could barely move.
Kingston knew better than to step foot into Sebastian's office. He dropped Aino off at the entrance of the office instead and said, "Little princess, this office right here is a private area for you and your parents only, so Uncle Kingston would not go in. I'll knock, and then you could go in there by yourself to deliver the food to your mommy. How does that sound?" 1
"I think so, too. Uncle Kingston shouldn't interrupt our family time," Aino responded with her chin up. 1
"..." Kingston did not respond as he thought to himself, 'Well, to be precise, no one could interrupt those two from spending time together! You were an exception
that wouldn't have to face severe consequences even i f you do because you were their little princess!'
Kingston smiled at Aino before knocking three times a t the door.
"What??" As expected, the voice from inside the office sounded impatient.
