The secretary pushed the door open, and her eyes widened in shock immediately at the sight before her.

The Director was sitting upright on the luxurious office chair that was made specifically for him, and sitting on his lap, was a woman.

The Director's suit covered the woman, and her hair was all tangled up as she nestled her head onto the man’s shoulder. Her arms were wrapped around the Director.

The secretary was no fool.

Although she couldn't see the woman's face to identify her, she instinctively realized that this woman must be extremely close with the Director.

The secretary had been working at the Ford Group for three years, and over the time of her employment, she had reported to the Director every day with contracts for him to sign.

She had never seen the presence of a woman in the Director's office, let alone for one to appear on the Director's lap.

Despite having his wife in his arms, the Director didn't seem affected at all. He took his golden pen with ease and signed the contracts in one swift motion. The secretary gaped. Her mind was filled with respect towards the Director and the fan-like admiration towards the woman in his arms. She desperately wanted to seek advice from Mrs. Director about how she was able to tame a man as immovable a s the Director.

‘A trick or two might just help me enslave a moderately successful man. Wouldn't that be the dream?’ She thought.

Her thoughts aside, the secretary dared not to overstay her welcome. Although the Director was not embarrassed, the poor woman in his arms was trembling the entire time like she was underwater.

The secretary couldn't help but chuckled internally at how timid and easily embarrassed Mrs. Director was. The secretary had not met Mrs. Director before but had somehow pictured someone with a gentle heart and immeasurable beauty.

The secretary paced her way out of Sebastian's office. She was considerate enough to lock the door behind her and left a sign on the door that said, "The Director i s resting. Do not disturb."
