After leaving the estate, the car soon arrived at the luxury hotel where the wedding was being held.
As the car pulled up, another round of confetti cannons erupted outside.
Having learned his lesson at the James family's home, Bennett waited for the confetti to settle before helping Yvonne out of the car.
But the lingering smell of exhaust fumes in the driveway still made Yvonne's stomach turn.
Covering her mouth and nose, she hurried into the hotel.
The ceremony wasn't scheduled to start for another hour, so Bennett went to greet the guests while Yvonne and the makeup team headed to the bridal suite.
Yvonne was feeling unwell again after the car ride, and her face was a little pale.
Teresa had prepared some warm ginger tea to settle her stomach. After drinking it, Yvonne sank back into a plush armchair to rest.
When it was almost time for the ceremony to begin, the makeup artist woke her. She changed into her wedding gown, and they touched up her makeup.
Once she was ready, Yvonne walked out of the bridal suite, the train of her gown trailing behind her.
Just as she opened the door, she saw Thomas standing outside, his hand raised as if he were about to knock.
Thomas had come to tell the bride it was time for her entrance. He hadn't expected the door to swing open so suddenly, revealing Yvonne standing before him, poised and elegant in her wedding gown.
Sunlight streamed in from behind, enveloping her in a halo of light that made her beauty seem almost surreal.
Thomas’s gaze lingered on her for a moment before he looked away. "The ceremony is about to start," he said, his voice flat. "I came to let you know it's time to make your entrance."
"Okay," Yvonne nodded, acknowledging him.
The makeup artist came over, bent down, and adjusted the train of Yvonne's gown one last time.
Yvonne gathered her dress and started to walk out of the room. She had only taken a couple of steps when Thomas suddenly called out to her.
