Sorry for Your Loss It's Me I'm the Loss novel Chapter 766

“Aren't Mr. Bennett Thompson and Ms. Jones newlyweds? How could he be entangled with another woman so soon after getting married? You see, this is what happens when you marry someone from such a humble background. She can't even keep her own husband in line.”

Mrs. Walker said with unconcealed glee.

“What are you still standing there for? Get in there and see what’s happening,” Emma snapped at Yvonne, her face flushed with anger.

Yvonne was speechless.

“What are you all crowded around here for?” Just as Emma finished shouting, a deep, slightly magnetic voice sounded from behind the group.

Everyone turned instinctively to see Bennett standing behind them, a look of confusion on his face.

“Mom, what did you want Yvonne to see? Who’s in there?”

“Bennett, what are you doing here?” Yolanda looked as if she’d seen a ghost. Wasn’t he supposed to be in the room, tangled up with that Mignon woman? Who on earth was in there then?

Bennett completely ignored Yolanda, striding forward to stand directly in front of Yvonne. He casually wrapped an arm around her slender waist.

“I just stepped out to take a call. Why is everyone up here?”

“It seems like someone is having an… improper relationship in that room,” Yvonne whispered back.

Bennett raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement in his eyes.

Seeing her son standing there perfectly fine, Emma finally breathed a sigh of relief. She turned and glared at Cindy.

“Isn't my son standing right here? What nonsense were you spouting!”

“I… I never said it was Mr. Bennett Thompson,” Cindy muttered under her breath.

A man was hastily pulling on his clothes by the bed, while a woman sat on it, wrapped in a blanket, sobbing as if she had been terribly wronged and bullied.

Without getting a clear look, Karina lunged at the man, raising her hand to slap him. But he caught her arm and threw her aside.

“Noah, you cheating scumbag, how dare you lay a hand on me!” Karina screamed as she fell to the floor.

At that moment, Emma also walked into the room. She went straight to the window and yanked open the curtains. Sunlight flooded in instantly, leaving no one inside with anywhere to hide.

Mignon was still huddled on the bed, curled up and crying.

Eden stood beside the bed, his expression as dark as a thundercloud.

“Eden, what are you doing here!” Mrs. Walker and Yolanda, who had followed to watch the drama unfold, were shocked to find that the man in the room was neither Bennett nor Noah, but Eden.
