Sorry for Your Loss It's Me I'm the Loss novel Chapter 755

They slept wrapped in each other's arms, a night of peaceful, warm intimacy.

The next morning, Yvonne was awakened by Bennett’s kisses.

His breath was hot but gentle. Yvonne's mind was still foggy with sleep, but his scent was so familiar that her body responded instinctively.

Having been denied the previous night, Bennett was clearly losing control this morning. He couldn't resist pressing her down onto the bed.

The feeling of him inside her was so intense that it jolted Yvonne fully awake. She didn’t resist him; instead, she yielded to him completely.

Just as they were lost in their passion, the doorbell rang at the most inopportune moment, but they chose to ignore it.

Meanwhile.

Emma stood at the door, growing annoyed after ringing the bell for a long time with no response.

Just as her irritation peaked, the door to the neighboring apartment opened. Helen emerged, with Bullet peeking out from behind her.

“Madam, what brings you here?” Helen asked, surprised.

“Why are you living next door?” Emma asked, equally perplexed to see Helen.

“The young master bought the apartment next door. I moved in here with Bullet so I wouldn’t intrude on his and Ms. Jones’s private life,” Helen explained honestly.

Emma acknowledged this with a simple sound before asking flatly, “Bennett should be home, shouldn't he?”

“Yes, he’s home,” Helen answered, not daring to lie.

“Then open the door. I have business with Bennett,” Emma commanded.

Helen hesitated for a moment. “The young master and Ms. Jones aren’t up yet.”

“Then go wake them up. What time is it? Is Yvonne trying to turn Bennett into a slacker too?” Emma said with clear displeasure.

Bennett had already slipped on a shirt and trousers. He turned to look at her, his gaze impossibly warm, but his tone was tinged with helplessness.

“My mother is here.”

“What?” Yvonne’s mind went blank. Her future mother-in-law showing up for a surprise inspection first thing in the morning… she was completely unprepared.

Yvonne instinctively threw back the covers to get out of bed, but Bennett stopped her.

“I need to go wash up. How can I meet her like this?” Yvonne asked, looking at him in confusion.

“Who knows why Mom is here this time. If you go out and she gets upset, what if she takes it out on you?” Bennett said, pulling her into a half-embrace.

Yvonne replied, “But if I avoid her, won’t she be even angrier?”

“She's going to be angry whether you see her or not, so why bother?” Bennett said, affectionately stroking her head. “You just stay here and get some more sleep. I’ll go handle this and be back with you soon.”
