She Was the Treasure All Along novel Chapter 95

To sell the act, the old man had wrapped his face so thoroughly that no one could have guessed who he was.

“I heard all of you talking while I was inside,” Zeke said, standing tall as a pine, eyes sharp as a hunting hawk. “First place for Blossom Drugstore is well deserved.”

The loudest critics now looked like they wanted to vanish.

Purity’s face flushed, then paled, then flushed again. She couldn’t even lift her head. Zeke’s appearance made the truth undeniable: she’d been outclassed by a girl she’d dismissed as nobody.

But no one expected the “third patient” to be Zeke himself. Was she really going to let some brat ruin everything?

Purity’s eyes darted. The Walsh family had been blacklisted by SaintHealer, their reputation on the dark web was toxic, and they were barely hanging on. If they couldn’t secure Lucian’s case today, they were finished. She flicked a look at Sapphire.

Sapphire immediately raised her voice to Zeke. “Mr. Zeke, Blossom Drugstore stole our family’s formula. They pulled it out at a critical moment to save Lucian, so their motives are dirty. I want our formula back, and I want to remind you: the Walsh family has practiced medicine for generations with integrity. We’ve never killed a patient. Rather than trust a liar who cheated her way in and got lucky, you should trust us.”

Loyce stepped toward Purity, her expression icy with contempt. “Back then, when Marcella ‘made a mistake’ and someone died, are you sure there wasn’t something else going on? Who’s the liar here?”

“Back then, the witnesses and evidence were clear,” Purity said, shaking her head like a disappointed elder. “Marcella killed someone due to her own greed. The police closed the case properly. You’ve been brainwashed by Marcella. Fine, hand over the formula, and I won’t pursue criminal charges.”

“Pursue me?” Loyce glanced at the clock on the wall, then pulled out her phone and held it out to Purity with a taunting look. “I’d love for you to. Call the police and have me arrested. Right now.”
