She Was the Treasure All Along novel Chapter 705

A faint scent of sulfur hung in the air, mixing with the unique, damp, earthy fragrance of tropical plants to create a distinct and incredibly relaxing aroma.

"Want to take a bath? Fresh water is scarce on the island, and we haven't had a proper wash since last night." Lucian kissed the top of her head, his tone suggestive. "The water here is very clean. I had my team test it, and the reports came back perfect."

It was true. From the moment they got off the plane until now, they had been messing around in the tent all night and all morning. It wasn't until after lunch that they finally came out for a walk.

Loyce felt like she was starting to smell like sweat.

"Let's go. Let's take a dip."

But when she walked closer to the edge of the hot spring pool, she was surprised to find two outdoor lounge chairs already set up. There was even a rug laid out in front of them, topped with clothes, fresh fruit, and wine.

She froze and looked back at Lucian. "You had someone set this up ahead of time?"

Lucian coughed lightly. "I was just betting you wouldn't turn me down."

Loyce: "..."

She stripped off her clothes and let the warm spring water wash over her skin. After soaking for just a few moments, Loyce felt all her exhaustion melt away.

She let out a comfortable sigh. The swirling steam blurred their outlines, but it only made her senses sharper.

Lucian was right beside her, watching her through the hazy mist.

Droplets of water slid down his chiseled chest and disappeared beneath the water along the tight lines of his abs. His gaze was unapologetically scorching—almost enough to melt someone, just like the hot spring.

"Loyce, come here," he said, his voice husky, carrying the damp richness of the steam as he reached out a hand to her.

Loyce's heart skipped a beat, but she didn't hesitate, using the water's buoyancy to glide over to him.

Their warm bodies pressed together beneath the surface. Even through the barrier of the water, she could clearly feel the heat of his skin and the vibration of his heartbeat.

His thick arm wrapped around her slender waist, anchoring her securely against him.

His other hand moved to her back, his fingertips burning hot as they slowly trailed down her spine.

The water became the most intimate medium. Every shift of his palm created gentle ripples that washed against their bodies.

Loyce tilted her head back, her eyelashes heavy with moisture. Her vision was filled with his striking, aggressive features.

He leaned down, pressing a soft kiss to her eyelids, then her nose, before finally capturing her lips.
