Isabella lunged at Elena.
Her features were contorted with a blind, feverish hatred, her eyes burning as they fixed on Elena. She hated her to the core.
But before she could even touch Elena, Dylan intercepted her.
"That's enough! What is wrong with you? You made the mistake, yet you're blaming Elena!" Dylan snapped.
He shoved her back onto the sofa.
Isabella's hair was a mess, and she looked like a madwoman. "You don't believe me? You don't believe me? Dylan, she's a viper. She did this to get back at me on purpose. Why won't you believe me? *Sob*... You weren't like this before."
Elena retorted, "You say I'm getting revenge? Why would I do that? Unless... you've done something to wrong me?"
"I..." Isabella choked on her words.
She had almost admitted to hiring thugs to attack Elena earlier that day.
"Alright, Isabella. Just rest. We can talk about everything tomorrow. If you dare try to bully Elena again, don't blame me for not being polite," Dylan said.
With that, he walked away.
Elena simply glanced at her with a faint, triumphant smile before following him.
"Elena!" Isabella gritted her teeth in hatred.
Tonight, she had been played, and played hard.
The mere thought of that fat slob, Mr. Chapman, pressing his weight on top of her made her want to vomit.
Thank god nothing actually happened. Mr. Chapman had only kissed her a few times and groped her.
She had felt something was wrong from the start, but the room was pitch black. She couldn't see Mr. Chapman's face and didn't know if it was Dylan or someone else.
When she finally tried to turn on the lights, she realized she couldn't push the fat man off.
It was only when Mrs. Chapman burst in that it ended.
But that woman had the nerve to beat her. She had lost clumps of hair, and her body was covered in bruises.
