'Sh*t!' Darryl panicked. He felt that he would explode under the pressure of that terrifying power. "Your… Your Excellency… have some mercy. I'll die if you don't let go…" he begged in a weak and hoarse voice.
He almost cried. 'F*ck! Just my rotten luck. I thought I would be able to shake off Odlin by coming here, but this is even worse! I don't want to die here.'
Emperor Aurelias ignored his plea as he urged his energy to crush Darryl. He said to himself, "This kid is exceptional, indeed. He has a fairy soul even though he's a mortal. Huh? He even has a strange fire in him."
Darryl gasped with shock when he heard that. 'Sh*t! He's good. He's able to sense my fairy soul and my strange flame.'
Suddenly, Emperor Aurelias detected something else and screamed with shock. "You have the Power of Bird Ancestor?"
He pulled back, causing Darryl to lose balance and fall to the ground.
"How did you, a mere mortal, get the Power of Bird Ancestor! I will wipe out your fairy soul if you don't tell me now!" Emperor Aurelias commanded as he stared at Darryl with burning eyes. He had mixed feelings about the situation and was trying to control the excitement in his heart.
Sure enough, upon learning of the situation, Emperor Aurelias trembled, and his eyes flashed with anger and heartache. A few seconds later, he snapped back to his senses and asked, "The Red Sparrow Queen is dead?"
Darryl nodded. "Yes! She was ambushed by her subordinate, Garuda, and had no choice but to pass the Power of Bird Ancestor to me." Then, his tone became curious as he asked, "Did you and the Red Sparrow Queen—"
He did not finish his sentence before he was interrupted by Emperor Aurelias.
